Thing with this community is, we need to stop giving UNCONDITIONAL passes just cause a nikka is black and INSTEAD praise those that raise us up, and SHUN those that make it worse. That way the future leaders go "better not fumble cause they after nikkas out here" Instead of "Ive got the black community on my side no matter what"

jews are a perfect example on when to defend someone in our tribe and when to shun them, that way they MUST act in favor of the community in fear of being shunned. I drive from Ann Arbor to downtown every day, my commute time probably won't change. Will probably start working from home once a week if I start to hate the commute.

I know a lot Detroiters who are saying that the only way to get money for the city is that it'll have to come through White person. They'll only help their kind. So White savior/slave mentality is in full in effect in this election. With that said, I voted for Napoleon. He's never been caught up in anything and it's a lot corruption in this city. That should tell you something about his character. But it won't matter because we love evil and hate good in the D.

It's not a white savior/ slave mentality, but its reality. If we"re gonna be honest and look at how the system works, if the chosen candidate gets into office then the federal and state dollars will pour into detroit. Just like how they're promoting that Dugan turned around the dmc, when In reality funds were approved for the dmc and Dugan had money to work with.

I'm not voting for either one cause the last election showed me that votes don't even matter. We voted no emergency manager, but still got one anyway.

I'd advise any black/minority folks that are still in the city not to move out, it's going to be tough to move back in once the city is brought back up to prominence (still a while away i know). That would be my advise and/or at least buy some property while you still can. I'm thinking about making that move myself pending my job responsibilities, I still have access to my old crib.
