If you headlined WrestleMania 17 you shouldn't be headlining WrestleMania 40..

Even saying that, you’re underselling how long ago it was. Dude’s first wrestlemania main event was 25 years ago, in the fukking 90’s. At least 3 whole separate eras in between that one and where we are now. We’re talking about a guy who was main eventing pay per views before the finger poke of doom happened. The sopranos hadn’t even premiered when he first won the title and when he first headlined wrestlemania its first season was still underway.

The Bloodline “story” has been stalled out since Jimmy turned on Jey. It’s treading water at this point.

It’s been mostly treading water for years. They stalled any sort of progress from May/June of 2021 until the fall/winter of 2022 and had Jimmy & Jey just function as lackeys taking bullets for Roman like Cody & Dibiase jr used to for Randy in the legacy and even now we’re 6 months removed from Jimmy betraying Jey and haven’t gotten any sort of progression in that angle whatsoever. Jimmy goes from “I cost you the title to protect you. I don’t want that shyt to turn you into our cousin and even if you hate me for it, I don’t blame you but I’m ok with it” to a week/month later Jimmy is right back to mid 2021-early 2023 status with Roman, solo, and Paul and Jey feels like he’s struggling to find where he fits on the raw card too still regardless of how good he is in the ring and on the mic.
