Diablo 3 was the first big time that the crowd/community felt blizzard was disconnected from what they want

Diablo 2 was so popular because majority of the millions of buyers got it for PvP (player vs player)

Diablo 3 didnt even have PvP when it released how do you not know your playerbase like that

Thatd be the equivalent of 2K knowing NBA 2k most people play regular mode, but street ball some people play, and releasing the next NBA 2k as ONLY street ball and you cant even play regular

The least they could have done was announce Diablo 4 to soften the blow even if it's just a screen with a logo. Bethesda had no problem announcing Elder Scrolls 6 when it's nowhere near ready to be shown and got standing ovations.
