Isnt the cost of living crazy that way...I pay like 700 here in Louisiana for rent and that's like a 3bed/2bath.

They can pay about that much in Kern county. There are parts of Cali that pay like LA, but you can live lovely like the rest of the country. The central valley is good for that.

White, Latino and Black. Also, a lot of people in nursing homes that just change the diapers are licensed nurses.

incorrect. licensed nurses are actual 'nurses' hence the title

the folks changing diapers are not nurses. they are CNA's or nursing assistants

NPs make the most money out of all nurses breh.
LPNs/

I don't see none of em making decent money if they ain't RNs tho.

CNA/LPN nurses make only half the average salary an RN has. Most of them are usually in transition nurses to get to higher levels in a few years.

:usure: some LPN's can make 40 to 50k breh. that's good middle class money right there. They working pretty hard to do that though

NPs make the most money out of all nurses breh.

nah, CRNA's do...that's the most paid nurse you gonna come across. They paid well...more than some Docs

More like a nurses' assistant.........:mjpls::sas1::sas2:

What's wrong with that? It's a lot easier to become a cna than it is to become and nurse and a lot of cnas want to be nurses. It's extremely hard to get into nursing school, nearly impossible. I know at my school, 1000 people will apply but only 50-60 will get in and it's a random selection. and you'll have to wait until next year to apply. So you could have the points you need to get in but still have to wait years to get in. At some schools out here they 2+ year waiting lists. A girl in my medical terminology class has been trying to get in for 6 years (she has to re-take her pre-reqs because they're over 7 years old). She's a cna, being a cna gets you more points on your application. and cnas are needed, when you're rotting away in a nursing home, you'll be thankful that there's something helping you.

That happened to my sister. She could never get into the program because of the long waiting list.

shyt is sad. You work soooo hard to get in, you have to have good grades anything other than A's & B's will hurt you, then you find out that you have to wait years to get into nursing school. I swear the coli is always shytting on any woman that isn't a nurse, as if becoming a nurse is easy or they should ashamed of being anything other than a RN.

????? you clearly don't know how nursing programs work. You submit your application for the program you're trying to get into, they add up your points (usually done by grade point average, grades in your pre-reqs, whether you have a degree, and if you're a medical assistant/cna/lvn etc)you have to get a certain amount of points, I believe it's 84. Then you're put into a random drawing and they draw 50 applications, those 50 got in, then they draw 10 alternates, they get in if there are any available spaces left. The rest have to apply again. If you're not qualified, you're not even put into the drawing.

???? :what: I don't want to be a nurse. You're clearly retarded, you still have to be chosen to get into the program to get your BSN. and I go to a university, so all the people trying to get into the nursing program at my school are getting their BSN. lmfao you're dumb as hell.

Right. It's not that hard to get into Nursing school.
My boys sister goes to UAB and managed to slide in this year and she's nowhere near among the best students I know.
3.0 and solid EC's and you're fine.
Can't do that, you should look into another career.
