I dont think its outta the realm of possibilty for any mc. If I've been doing this for 20+ years and my rep is solidified and cemented as a top lyricist, I would be open to spit bars from another mc or giving one of the lil n!ggas in the studio a chance to shine on a verse or two. That's how you collaborate. It's like filmmaking. Scorsese gets input from the cinematographer on how to light the scene. He gets input from the editor on how to pace a scene. The actor and writer also, but in the end, it's a Scorsese film - his style and imprint is blatant.

Long story short, she caught feelings because Jay is her dawg. And if you know dream hampton’s history, she has ALWAYS been anti-Nas, and showed her true colors during the Nas/Jay beef.
I mean, this filthy slore has written for almost every major rap publication in history, at one time or another…..and could never stay employed in one place because she always wears out her welcome and eventually burns bridges with the other staff writers because of her tactics. Oh sure, she CALLS herself a “freelance journalist” and will argue that she never worked on staff for any rap publications because freelancing is better for her, but the truth is, other writers can’t stand this chick and the way she goes about getting stories. So now we gon’ act like Reginald Dennis (former editor of The Source”) didn’t catch flack for calling her out back in the day on her “journalistic integrity” for her using her friendships with rappers to get stories? We gon’ act like she didn’t try to do this SAME THING to Tupac to disparage HIM during the B.I.G./Pac beef because she was “close friends” with B.I.G. (she was one of the MAIN “journalists” to imply that Pac was raped in prison)?
See, this is the problem….these young stupids (AS USUAL) don’t have any historical context and, therefore, they’ll believe anything they’re told.
