No its still in vault. I wanna here that stone cold corleon track i wonder if it uses the same instrumental as the nate dogg one soopafly also produced.

Thats a possibility.
Never leave me alone was also in the drafts. Same with other songs without snoop verses like "Smoke Enough Bud".

As for the other song:
Never heard of that so I cant say.
Where you gettin all that info from Breh ?
Like the Techniec Feature on you thought or "no Recognition" ?
Any way you could get some songs from there ?

Off The Hook & Out The Moon are both cool but the one is without a snoop verse & the other one is cool but nothing too special.
Out Tha Moon was cool on the lbc crew album tho.
Gonna do that project in the future

With snoop albums its always that one posse cut that he just does the hook on(for my nikkaz and bytches) i wish out the moon was on the final retail i think it would have fit perfect and off the hook would have sounded outta place on the album(unless the album was strictly funk based), gridlock was the better fit.

I aint really a fan of that tbh. On songs like "Out Tha Moon" or "Blueberry" a snoop verse wouldve been dope.
Only time where I aint got a problem with it, is "For All My nikkaz & bytchez" that song is a 10/10 classic song.
Altho I think they added that on Doggystyle because they had to cut other songs.

That was always on DS it was present on the OG tracklist the only ones took off retail last minute was dave, gz up hoez down and next episode. The song doggystyle was cut early in the process and replaced with tha shiznit. Whats your thoughts on hit rocks, gangsta walk and cee walkin? I think they woulda fit well on retail especially cee walkin it carried that same feel as lodi dodi(production wise) on DS. Better than vapors for sure (pooh version)

:ohhh: Didnt know that. Whats interesting to me is the fact, that the album wasnt even finished properly. So theres a good chance that they were planning on recording more material we'll never hear/thats unfinished in the vault :mjcry: That "Doggystyle" track was classic too, unfortuantely it didnt make the cut. Song is amazing, especially with the funk guitar & shyt :ohlawd::ohlawd::ohlawd: Kinda think they didnt finish the song completely because the verses are short af, imagine if they included it on the album and made it longer :banderas:
Same with Next Episode, I need that song in CDQ :mjcry: The outro was also great, shame they took that off too. The only song Im not carin much for being on the album is "Dave" song is cool but I wouldnt have put it on the album either.

I really like C-Walkin. There are two versions, the one on the anniversary edition and on the smokefest bootleg, and the version on Dead Man Walkin. I actually like the dead man walkin version a lil bit more, but both are dope. The lyrics are classic snoop and to me it sounds like one of the earliest doggfather songs. Hit rocks was cool too, the beat is dope and snoop is also cool on there. Same with gangsta walk, the parts are pretty cool & the beat is pretty minimalistic, still a cool lil song. But I didnt put them onto my version, because they not quite on the level of the songs I put on there.
Maybe I'll do a lil leftover ep with the dopest songs I left off, they would all kinda fit together sonically with the more raw, stripped down production.

Out of the 3 c walkin was done in the later stages of the album gangsta walk only appeared on the 1st draft i think its a dope song but was more suited for dpg album instead. Hit rocks ironically gonna be the 1st promo single for the album. C walkin appeared on the june 96 tracklist up until the final retail. With vapors i remember dave aron saying that when they got the call about pac and suge getting shot they had just finished mixing it down so i believe the battlecat version is the original and the pooh version(recorded 10-12-96)is the remix. Head doctor Do you think that woulda been a good single? I never understood why this and dogg collar got took off the final cut.

Yeah I think head doctor and dogg collar couldve both been some cool Singles

Midnight Love as the first Single
Snoops Upside Ya Head as the second one
Wanted Dead Or Alive as the third Single
Head Doctor/Dogg Collar/Doggfather one of those as the last Single

That wouldve been right imo

I agree. The irony is the first 3 dropped in that order (midnite love premiered in 96 only one time same with dead or alive december of that yr) even i and few others thought those were on the album. I remember snoop speaking on dogg collar b4 on two occassions once when he was happy to hear and was dancing to it back in 09. The other when a fan asked him about songs that he regretted not making to retail albums he mentioned no bacctracin, dave and dogg collar but gave no clear reason why the other two didnt make it. But bacctracin because he felt yall gon miss me fit better
