True. I wish the whole album stayed mafioso(still keep dogg collar,may i and keep it real dogg type songs just for singles purposes) and then on his 3rd he coulda went with the funk theme as that wouldve meshed perfect with the jiggy era. Another fact is that the back cover of the album was actually supposed to be the front cover and the front cover was to be the back.

I wouldnt change a thing about the version I uploaded here.
TBH even on the retail version there arent really that many "mafioso" songs, apart from "Doggfather" obviously and maybe "Downtown Assassins" (thats more based on the skits in between tho).
Even on other rap albums that were considered "mafioso" themed not all of the songs actually sounded like it.

I would say retail: doggfather downtown assasins, blueberry,wake up, ride 4 me skit, you thought(production) and groupie(production wise) your version: Gangstas life, change gon come, may i, dead or alive, poly high, i will survive, street life. Other songs: usual suspect, county blues, definition of homeboy, too blacc dead or alive(with a funk type twist), if theres a cure (lyric wise),would u kill 4 me, and gangsta walk.

But songs like "Definition of a Homeboy" were horrible, Zombie snoop is unbearable
I just hope We get the last couple of Tracks from the Sessions, thats the only way Id change somethin bout the tracklist of We got songs like Bugsy, that beat is amazing

Bugsy seems like its a dope song and im surprised took that off the final tracklist. I was watching a vid on the snoop and pac beef(supposently he has inside sources) and the guy spoke on doggfather and mentioned wanted dead or alive and just watchin being intended but on the drafts ive yet to see it on there. However i know pac mentioning street life was intended for gridlockd
