You know when exactly that video came out ?
Whats irritatin bout the video is the fact that they used some parts of the midnight love video and it contained the swoop g part that wasnt on the original so I think the video mustve came out when the "dead man walkin" compilation dropped ? To me it seems as if they never finished the video and suge just recycled from the midnight love video and somehow

I agree. The irony is the first 3 dropped in that order (midnite love premiered in 96 only one time same with dead or alive december of that yr) even i and few others thought those were on the album. I remember snoop speaking on dogg collar b4 on two occassions once when he was happy to hear and was dancing to it back in 09. The other when a fan asked him about songs that he regretted not making to retail albums he mentioned no bacctracin, dave and dogg collar but gave no clear reason why the other two didnt make it. But bacctracin because he felt yall gon miss me fit better

I believe with those singles it wouldve been a bigger succes than it already was. Midnight Love is a hit, Snoops Upside Ya Head is a banger too & Wanted Dead or Alive is also classic.

With head doctor i know part the vid was filmed late 96.
But i do feel they coulda did a mini movie type vid with that. And have street life pick up where 2oamw left off.

I always thought they should have left that song as is, they couldve put charlie wilson on the chorus and kept the mix the same. I'm sure that a cdq version will leak. Was the dr greatest hits version of the song eastsiders remixed for doggfather? Or another project

The version on the anniversary disc seems to be the OG version but both of the snoop verses on each version were used on other songs later on.

I only got the version from the c.murder compilation without daz in good quality, the other one seems to be unleaked in decent quality.......

I dont know of anymore doggfather era songs that are leaking anytime soon but i hope so. The only version of the og dogged her out i got is in bad quality. Im hoping for more DF tracklists to come about too I know theres atleast a couple more in the vault

Yeah theres atleast a couple more in the vault because that review that came out on the east coast mentioned too blacc and head doctor being on the version that was sent to him. And ive only seen street life on one list so far but ive seen it appear on gridlockd tracklist same with out the moon though i did see it on two DF tracklist and only one gridlockd. But from other sources say that maybe just watchin and out tha moon(and or if theres a cure possibly WDOA)were the only slated apearances for the album

They shouldve just included them. Takin out all the pac songs and exchanging them with all those wack filler songs

Exactly i agree 100%. I think removing those features cost the album an 1 million sales and changing the album completly also cost sales as well. This album couldve atleast went 4xplatinum its still his second best selling lp though

Having the 7 day theory Album comin out at the same time was also a factor on the Sales I think
