In that case it woulda been suge. He picks the album name, track selection and singles but with this album he overseen it in the beginning but after vegas i believe snoop was in charge of the whole project .
Who is in control of which single gets released ?
Is that also the executive producer or is it a group decision ?

He is one of those artists that needs guidance when organizing an album. In the interview he said the album originally was "orchestra with live strings and horns" (change come, county blues,i will survive, wake up, street life, dogg collar, just watchin, get up get down, doggfather daz mix, too blacc, gangstaz life) than it evolved into having a funk twist to it(may i, upside ya head, eastside party, keep it real dogg, out the moon, if theres a cure) then it eventually became a bad mesh of different stuff.Been awhile since I read that, but with the state snoop was in it Wasnt a good idea to let him change up the Album

And then add suge selecting the tracklist and singles. Lyrically imo snoop was better on DF its just he had more energy in his delivery on doggystyle. Had dre mixed DF it woulda came out sounding like tha last meal and had quik mixed it woulda sounded identical to all eyez me which was the purpose.THIS.
On Deep Cover/Chronic/Doggystyle the whole team was on point and they made sure EVERYTHING was tight. Dre made sure that the production was A1 and D.O.C. coached the young cats in the beginning to teach em song writing & shyt and had them work on their lyrics until they was perfect. Same with Dre who made em do as many takes as they needed to make it perfect.
If only they had the same team to make a Doggystyle 2 or even a trilogy
