All I heard was the truth...Aaliayh been replaced by countless Pop-RnB chicks...She didn't leave a hole in the game...
Pop-RnB didn't lose a step because Aaliyah died...It stayed in the same trajectory...And Timbaland himself implied that Aaliyah was not a workaholic...She liked to travel and fool around, instead of recording more songs...
With the way the game is moving so fast, her beauty would have deterioated with age, her voice wasn't exceptional, her music wasn't soulful and timeless, it was HEAVILY carried by brilliant Timbo beats that have become outdated...
I don't think she would have been able to compete with Rihanna for that Queen of Pop-RnB spot...
This is just the reality of the game...
That beauty might've been timeless
...Imagine if she had a baby and got thick
Gotta agree with just about everything else, cant really compare her to rappers who write they OWN classics, who really never run out of producers to work with....If you cant create your own material you will always be at the mercy of others in the game and politics.
Aaliyah took a break to do movies and lost momentum,i do think whats being left out is how she connected with fans,to women they felt like she was they homegirl,to dudes she was that around the way girl next door
So I think she would've kept a loyal fanbase, even though she would've been replaced at the top,and you would always have caught hell if you said something bad about her.
And quit being salty talkin bout she a martyr cuz she died
...She dead, most people speak kindly of the dead and wont go out of they way to shyt on her career....but you really cant make predictions with a artist like her.
Beyonces stanbase is strong though,so strong I think they will reject potential replacement just so she can keep the top spot which is crazy to me
...In hiphop we always looking for the new nikka to replace the old,not that Beehive
edit-And oh yeah,Biggie overated azz wouldn't have been relevant in 2002,letalong 2015
...r.i.p though
