If you're black, it doesn't matter about your class or education level; you've experienced racism at some point here in the U.S. because of your skin color.

(This post wasn't meant to disagree with you but just to point out that a wealthy black person in an Atlanta neighborhood is still going to have an experience of being black - and more than one, surely - that is the same as a kid from a working class neighborhood like Mechanicsville.)
