To my knowledge they haven't, but I can believe that Shannon would be open to it with how much he still talks about it.

SAS is an opportunist enough that he'd actually try to make it happen and bring it up every chance they get.

SAS and Shannon are close (or at least act like it), but Skip is one of his day one's and that makes a difference.
