To be fair, with 6 minutes to go in the 4th Tatum went cold. That's when the game was on the line and it looked like the Pacers were gonna win frankly because Tatum got locked up by Nesmith.

Everyone is always gonna focus on the play when it's crunch time. Bird, Magic, Jordan, Kobe, Bron, all great players are judged at crunch time. It's been that way forever. Looking at box scores doesn't tell the entire story.

Ant was shytty almost all game against Denver but played great with 5 minutes to go and propelled his team to a win.

Tatum redeemed himself in the OT though.

I saw the highlights this morning. Man, if you rep Indy, that's rough. That's the type of L that'll sweep a team right out of the postseason. We always hear "it's one game, we'll put it behind us", but that's easier said than done, especially this time of year.

This... this right here is why that ESPN/NBC article is so potent.

ESPN talks about the NBA incessantly, but they're never promoting the game or the players.

Tatum had a great game, even scoring 11 in overtime. To let ESPN tell it, he played like ass whole time and needed JB to bail him out when the play was drawn up for JB to take the shot in the first place.

This is like saying MJ got bailed out by Steve Kerr because Jordan passed him the ball, despite the fact that the play was drawn up that way.
