like I said, Ymir doesn't move the needle for me but she got done dirty.And I'd honestly have less issues with that being the reasoning if the explanation from Isayama wasn't "shyt, I don't know, y'all figure it out". Eren literally says he has no clue why it took 2000 years for Ymir to finally choose a path were there was going to be 1 random woman (Mikasa) overcoming her love and killing it....and somehow that was going to convince Ymir to let go of her love for Fritz, which would result in Titans not existing anymore.
It's one thing to leave things open ended and another one is to say "well, that's just because, you figure out the rest", imo

This ending was some fukking bullshyt. It was rushed as hell. So the world still hates Eldians and the Eldians don't even have titan powers anymore to defend themselves. WTF was the point of what Eren did? His people are basically in the same position. What was the point of the plot thread with Historia's child?

Mainly to protect his friends, as they are worldwide heroes now, and leave Paradis with a "fighting chance" against the rest of the world. Which is no doubt a
ending.

I think it's the other way around now if I'm not mistaken. They're heading to Paridise to try and make peace. They're no longer sitting ducks and either something has to give, or one simply just has to go. As the reader, our journey is done. Like dude I replied said. "figure it out for yourselves

So who was going to eat Berthold the first time they crashed the walls? and who redirected the Titan that did?
It's inferred that Dina was going to eat Bertholt and that Eren somehow moved her so she would end up eating Eren's mom, thus assuring that Eren would end up were he did.
At least I think that what it was inferred.
You can answer the question if you want an actual logical and nuanced answer.
