Most folk thought the ending was gonna be the genocide rumbling one.. hell that as what I thought. and it would have made sense and would have been a great ending... a downer sure.. but great
isayama left himself also a window of opportunity for to create a sequel to(albeit a short one kinda like a Epilogue). That will prolly focus on the war and conflict between Eldia and the rest of the world.
with the titans gone, the series would seem weird. Still being called "Attack on Titan" but it can prolly work.
still crazy to see how this series went from being a survival, slay the demon/zombie series to now being a Military fiction based one. Which the latter is prolly what a sequel would look like going forward (Military fiction) if Isayama chooses to do one espescially with the Titans gone which was prolly the only fantastical element in the series

I don't have a problem with this ending...just everything that led up to it in the last third of the Manga
Been reading since chapter one so it's been almost 12 years
I'm happy to have reached the end. The last few chapters weren't the strongest but I'm okay with it. 99% of story was GOAT level and while not the strongest finish I'll put it #2 behind 20th Century Boys as the best manga I've read.
