what i'm looking forward is the open world activities, people forget that Shenmue basically invented open world games. But for some reason modern open worlds are always empty, no one to talk to, you can't enter most buildings, no side activites etc. I'm hoping the side activities will get meme attention in this modern era and influence new games to have stuff like that in them.breh we dont care if its the better series...do u not see these posts ?? it aint even about nostalgia...WE WANT REVENGE NIKKA18 YEARS WE WAITED FOR THIS WE WANT THAT NIKKA HEAD ON A FUKKIN STICK SPRINKLED WITH HERBS AND SPICES WORD TO MAX BIGGAVEEZLY

I played a few hours of it and it's cool. It definitely feels like a Shenmue game. I have been used to playing the Yakuza games so getting back into Shenmue, the slow pace takes some getting used to. Two things I do not like so far are 1) there is an HP system. So you have to eat as your energy constantly drains. You can't run to places like you could in the other games without losing energy. 2)The repetitive Chinese Willy Wonka song (if you hear it, you will know what I mean) that repeats all through the Village square. It gets annoying after a while. I'm not that far into it though. I'm currently looking for a bookie and I have to fight this dude, but I have to build up my HP to beat dude.
