Still ain't beat Shenmue 1/2 yet. 
LAN DI IS THE MOST EVIL VILLIAN IN GAMING AND HE MUST BE STOPPED BREHI don't care how many games it takes, war gets deep some beef is everlasting.
I got two daughters, I will teach them about what Lan Di did and why it might be up to them to finish what that fakkit started. It'll be a curse on our family until Lan Di dies.

Except that you won’t. Isn’t there supposed to be like 3 or 4 more games in this series? I remember as a kid when I used to keep up with this game way more that they had mentioned lan di was part of a much larger gang with like 7 members or something like that. I highly doubt lan di is going to be finished with this game
I can’t believe, after all these years, I can finally stomp Lan Di out like a delinquent camp fire during a a California summer.
Lan Di is not the leader I feel we get to wash Lan Di but only to reveal another evil that we have to karate
If there’s a much larger gang its not out of the realm of possibility to finish with Lan Di and the gang want revenge on you.
Dragging out a single villain for 6-7 games
I hope y’all aren’t disappointed. 
Personally I think the game will flop. Yakuza is a better series IMO. Shenmue is getting hype with nostalgia goggles on.

They already confirmed this game won't be the end of the story.
But from a plot perspective I don't know if the protagonist would be motivated to go after the rest of the gang. Wasn't he only after Lan Di for killing his dad?
But between this, Star Wars, and Death Stranding I might not leave the crib for anything other than work until January

Yu Suzuki himself said in a receny interview that Lan Di is the most misunderstood character in the series. Thats consistent with the running theme in II where Ryo is supposed to let go of his hunger for revenge and forgive him
