Yep, not to mention backers aren't getting the Day 1 edition with the extra DLC. I get that retailers want their incentives, but people who floated this shyt in 2015 shouldn't be missing out
I got mine today priority as well as DLC. The only thing that doesn't seem to be working is the Backer code

So is it worth hunting down now, or waiting for next week to buy for $35?

Trying to clear Pokémon and Luigi’s Mansion 3 before getting this

If you played I&II and were waiting for a sequel pick it up. If passing interest, wait til $35 price drop. It takes some getting used to the ol' "Excuse me, I'd like to ask you something"

:unimpressed:
well the story is supposed to span 6 games so i wouldnt be surprised but that dont mean we wont be able to the beats on him...maybe there's some higher power at work here...but one thing's for sure this story is far from over...might not see this thing thru till 2028 and the latest

I know Suzuki said that earlier, but I hope you reconsiders that issue. The game is still a little too long. I must've opened about 20 dresser drawers and moved a bed when only one or two were important. That's very time-consuming.

What's the difference between the day one edition and normal version of this game?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I was tempted to get it today but after hearing all the lukewarm feedback. . I might wait for a price drop first.

If you ain't a fan, don't cop. It won't change your mind since it's rooted heavily in the same mechanisms and pacing as the first two, from what I've seen. Shenmue one on the Dreamcast is one of my fave games of all time and unlike other folk on here who say "It hasn't aged well" And all that other stuff, I still like how it's made and how it runs and will definitely be getting and enjoying the fukk out of this one, so unless you feel the same way....I'd say wait until it drops in price.

But I can see why it won't turn the heads of folks who aren't deeply rooted in nostalgia and willing to forgive it's slow pacing and pedantic type gameplay.....but fukk it, I love shenmue and I'll love this more than likely. The only reason I haven't copped it now is because I've got Death Stranding/Outer Wilds/Division 2 amongst other games that occupy my time to the point where if I cop now I won't play until when it comes out on a deal, thus negating money I can save.

I look forward to it, though.:noah:

u know whats funny i thought coming off of red dead 2 (aasuming you've played it) i thought that would have players used to that mechanic (of course shenmue been out wayyyyy before red dead was a thing) i mean as far as opening drawers and examining objects...of course red dead 2 has wayyyyyyyy more action.i feel right at home though...i wouldnt be surprised it Yu thought about switching up the gameplay but decided to play it safe.
