played for a bit :wow: the graphics imagine if they had god of war's or death strandings engine.shyt looks like its gonna be epic...10min in thugs already makin trouble around the village for the Mason's and i aint talkin bout the free boys :wow:

I played a few hours of it and it's cool. It definitely feels like a Shenmue game. I have been used to playing the Yakuza games so getting back into Shenmue, the slow pace takes some getting used to. Two things I do not like so far are 1) there is an HP system. So you have to eat as your energy constantly drains. You can't run to places like you could in the other games without losing energy. 2)The repetitive Chinese Willy Wonka song (if you hear it, you will know what I mean) that repeats all through the Village square. It gets annoying after a while. I'm not that far into it though. I'm currently looking for a bookie and I have to fight this dude, but I have to build up my HP to beat dude.

damn right.

the follow up to this better have a big budget. The silly talking and going back and forth with people I just spoke to (just in a different order) is annoying.

BUT ... not annoying enough to stop playing it. This game was for the fans.

For those that played the demo (which is wayyyy better than the first 1.5 hours) it is a guide to going through the Village Square.

Will finish this game by mid-late December as I am working a a few projects but I fux with it.

*Any backers here have a hard time entering the Backers code??*

fukk... I was gonna buy it today but I might wait for black Friday. I wanted to play it this weekend but women love to inconvenience a breh at the worst time.:snoop:

My bet is still on this game flopping overall. Playing those remasters (if you can even call them that) confirmed my suspicion that the games didn’t age well at all. If part 3 sticks too closely to the formula of the first 2 I don’t see the game doing too well. I’d love to see the series do well, but way too much time has passed and not enough growth has been made in this series while other games have raised the bar since then exponentially. In any case, I’m getting the game if nothing more than to complete the collection.

Yep, not to mention backers aren't getting the Day 1 edition with the extra DLC. I get that retailers want their incentives, but people who floated this shyt in 2015 shouldn't be missing out
