Caleb has shown he’s better with his feet. Shaduer holds the ball a tick too long but he’s shown he is very clutch and cool under pressure. Accuracy seems the same and arm strength seems the same.

Caleb has the edge, right now.
Somebody once said Shedeur is actually very situationally aware about the sacks that he takes.

Dude will rather take the sack than throw a bad ball, which also explains the low interception counts.

Again, not saying Shedeur is better, but dude is a very smart player and that formal pedigree is quite apparent. That's a big part of the intrigue because that'll always transfer on the football field at every level.

Depends on where they go.

But as of TODAY

Caleb is Mahomes when the play breaks down, but Houston Deshuan in the pocket and past the line of scrimmage.

Shedeur is Jameis Winston with Teddy Bridgewater's decision making.

Now I personally believe Jameis would have been really good if he had more chill decision making.

I have to see how Shedeur plays against Oregon and USC to project him better. Cause while the Colorado State comeback was impressive. The fact he had to comeback because his feet were incredibly slow in the pocket and outside the pocket. He has to play faster once his 1st read is gone against Oregon and USC.

If he can show better feet and make more tight window throws against those quality opponents then maybe he's more in the Burrow/Seattle Geno mode.

Asking posters who only watched maybe 4 games of Sanders and rarely watch SC isn't gonna get you good answers.

They are different QB types.

Shedeur is a pocket passer who's even showing tremendous game management qualities

Celeb is a dynamic mobile QB who also has everything needed to be an elite balanced QB prospect.

Everyone wants balanced QBs in the 2020s so the clear lean is Williams. That said elite pocket passers are what has always won in the NFL.

Both are special prospects to me. I see them are clearly the top two QBs in this class.

Who's better, the one that goes to the best scheme, coaching, and personnel in the NFL. No QB can do it by themselves, especially early on.

Both are tier 1 prospects. Clearly ahead of Maye and Penix for me. Ewers is someone to keep an eye on.

Another thing to consider is how pliable Mahomes is. Dude doesn't get injured and has actually taken some pretty big hits to make those crazy throws. Mahomes is double-jointed/loose-jointed which protects him from a class of injuries. Not a lot of people can play that style, big arm or not.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is reportedly recovering from his dislocated right kneecap ahead of schedule and is eyeing a return against the Tennessee Titans on Nov. 10.

Per NFL's Ian Rapoport, Mahomes' rehabilitation is said to have been helped by the anatomical makeup of his knee:
"Sources say it goes back to how Mahomes' knee is actually built. Because of the way his knee is configured—and how naturally loose his ligaments are—only one ligament in his knee was compromised by the scary injury, and that was just barely. None were torn. The fact that he didn't move when the original dislocation happened helped, as well."

It's added that "a layman would say Mahomes is double-jointed and his knee has built-in protection." As a result, he's on course for an "incredibly quick recovery."

Not a guarantee Caleb can take those hits to make those plays longterm at the next level. There's so much more to Mahomes's dominance than the football IQ, decision-making, cannon arm and playmaking. I'm pretty sure there are other intangibles many aren't seeing. Funny traits like Barry Bonds having the best examined eyes an opthamologist has seen go into making some of these top-performing athletes truly special.

It's like when people compared Andrew Luck to "A younger, more mobile Peyton Manning". It really overlooks the intricate details about what Mahomes and Manning were able to do and the reasons why they were able to.

So Caleb is the best player in the league and Shadeur is a 2nd stringer? :russ:
