Of course. Not every retired athletes have engaging personalities, charisma, or effective communication skills though. They are not all the same. Maybe they can build interest over time but I am not interested in just anyone's voice.

With that said, I am looking forward to see what Wayne did with the new intro song today.

In TV the goal isn't to have all the ex pro pundits all the same blessed with charisma and personality etc... That works best for late night programming and on YouTube not daytime or primetime TV.

On TV youll have the straight man who will be more of the knowledge guy (dropping stats breaking down plays etc). The character who will make you laugh and drop the one liners. The Contrarian and then you'll have the person that nobody likes because they offer nothing and come across more as yes person.
