In a weird way I wished the Lakers was in the NBA finals. Shannon and Skip arguing LeBron’s legacy for the very last time would’ve been the perfect ending for their final broadcast together. :pachaha:
They talked about cowboys for a full week when they werent in the superbowl. What makes you think they aint gonna find ways to bring up lebron :skip:

If we’re throwing names in the hat to shyt on Skip 2.5 hours a day 5 days a week, Gary Payton would be a fun watch. :heh:

i remember when skip crossed the line with chris broussard and was man enough to apologize to him on the next show.

Even when him and jalen had their issues, he apologized for his part on it, he seemed a lot more reasonable then.

He owed shannon an apology for that tom brady put your glasses back on shyt. Shannon seems like a good brother and woulda let it go.

Its the "wrong and strong" attitude he has, that was usually only reserved for his hot takes, that has now transferred over to his real life co workers. its fukking up a lot of his relationships, the money and power has got to his head.

Even the D.Hamlin situation, all he had to do was apologize and say he misspoke. But he stood by the shyt, and even interrupted Shannon when he was trying to tell a deep story.

To insult someone who at the time you considered a friend, Over some weird tom brady fandom (someone he has no relationship with) is borderline insane.

What did he say to Broussard?

Yo I actually remember watching that live

It's been over a decade, but Skip said something along the lines of "Yeah Broussard, you're career is basically riding Lebron's coat tails so I can't take your takes seriously"

Then First Take spent a whole segment where Skip apologized the day after :dead:

Not sure if Shannon wants it or not or if it'd be a step down for him, but a radio spot might be open for him in a few months as J Will sounds like he's over being at ESPN and Max might be gone along with him.

What makes you say that?
J-Will's contract is up in a few months and usually ESPN re-ups talent without letting it get that close to the deadline. When asked about it, he sounded rather meh in how the company talk shows currently operate. Couple that with Max getting demoted again and their morning show just there, it might be a spot there for Shannon in a revamped lineup when it's all said and done.
