Just a quick question...Let's say you sign Kaep, and he promises to not do it again...there's obviously alot of controversy and talk about it...in the media...you lose some people with that....but he's on your team as a 2nd or 3rd option...

What if he decides to do it again in publoic, with your team's jersey on TV? Now what?

FTR I'm looking at this purely from a Owner/GM perspective....

What if he does it again? The world will keep spinning breh.

These middle America cacs aint stopping watching football. Its all some of these dipshyts have.

But see here's the thing, active duty military personnel, at least the minority ones, were overwhelming in support of Kaepernick with the hashtag vetsforkaepernick or something like that. The media tried to say that Kaepernick was offending our troops and troops spoken out and shut that down. Now they can't use that as a talking point.

But I totally get what you're saying though, if you criticize one, you criticize the other even though the troops made it clear they knew where Kaep is coming from.
Yeah but individuals saying it, versus the officials at high levels saying are two different things...There are some cops, black and white who support kaep, but I haven't seen any organization come together and say it...

Either way, I think this "blackballing" may go at a higher level...remember when NWA made "fukk the police?" Who were the ones sending them letters to shut it down? The FBI.

They were also telling the labels and the people who ran the events to tell them not to perform the song. The labels and the owners gave them instructions to not perform it...they did it anyway tho

Ironic that Ray had a double homicide of two black men on his neck, tampered with evidence, and was let back in the league and Kaep being blackballed for simply taking a knee to protest unjustified black homicides by POLICE........

Ray need to sit his bamma ass down. That Beijing leaking into his brain.
Argued for mandatory minimums and I'm extremely certain he voted for Trump.

We did watch the video and the statements still stand, Ray going in on black on black crime was ridiculous and served no purpose.

I didn't watch the video yet. I don't know if I want to now:snoop:

Mara did say that he recieved the most emotional emails ever concerning the signing of Kaepernick. I believe these included season ticket holders.

But I think a Kaepernick signing could bring a hellova of more fans to the team he signs. But is it worth losing season ticket holders and sponsors? Will the new fans replace the revenue of the potential lost of season ticket holders?

How much money did the 9ers lose last season due to Kap?:jbhmm:

These season ticket holders are not backing out because a team signs him. If they do someone else will step up and buy those tickets. The Ravens or any other team will make their money. Losing money is a cop out just like "football reasons." As black as Baltimore is the Ravens will make money from all the Jersey sales. He'd be great in the community as well.

People seem to forget that the protest story went away a fairly early in the season. Even Chip Kelly said it wasn't an issue for the team.

If he decided to knee again, and make the comments...I think the hammer would come down on that team in epic proportions.

They'd recover, but they'd take a big hit.

NFL made record high profits last season even with Kaep kneeling for 16 games AND starting. This sport has entire cities by the balls, extorting them for free stadiums. They survived players that have beat they wives, murdered folks, CTE, drugs, steroids. Most franchises still sell out every damn game and have waiting lists. Again, these cacs aint gonna stop watching football because a backup QB kneels.
