Breh... the “happy drunk” speech from Frank, and his reaction to watching Fiona have a nervous breakdown at the Alibi, was my favorite Shameless moment in years. The fukking pain/understanding/fear in Frank’s eyes...

Hard to watch. But dammit this show can be flat-out excellent when it gives a damn about more than fukkery-related hijinks.

Frank's face told so much in that scene.

Carl has had his basic personality changed at least four times in this show. Young Carl had the same fearlessness and resiliency Frank has.

Young Carl did. Now dis Carl is a p*ssy broke and stupid. I dunno where he fits in still.

Yeah de Ur ain't responsible for shyt. Remember Fiona had 2 not only manage house but raise dem kids. She had baby Liam Deb and Carl to raise and get 2 skool. Lip n Ian as pre teens most annoying age.

Deb got no kids 2 get 2 skool home work. The house is paid off. Carl lip take care of their own. And Liam is smarter than Deb already and manages himself. Shoot half da time. Deb b forgetting about her yute.

young Debbie was fine, she never gave Fiona any trouble and she always tried to give Frank and Monica the benefit of the doubt.

The pregnancy angle is where her character took a dip and it's only gotten worse. It's obvious they have no real plan or direction for her or Carl.
