It was good to see Fiona and Frank have their moment. He was genuinely hurt by her leaving because of much she reminded him of Monica. He even told Debbie that Fiona had that stripper look that Monica was able to pull off. And in a way he knows he's fukked without her. Deep down inside, he realizes she was the stabilizer of the family until she turned into the Gallagher she was destined to be. It was a good look of her to bless Debbie with half of her check.

With or without Emmy this show was destined to end soon. It may have been too soon to wrap the whole thing up on a decent note from a writing perspective. But this will die a slow and painful death.

That confrontation scene was eye opening
What Frank said to Fiona was all she was going to get from him in turns of a thank you. Don't know if it was a sad or touching.

Without Fiona's character, I prolly won't even watch the show anymore... outside of Liam, Kev & V, there's no likable ppl on this show and the even those three are rarely on the show anyways or given throwaway scenes as if the writers forget about them.
Man the terrible writers in this show deserve to be axed why their lazy ass "we'll just wing it & make it up as we go as long as we make sure Frank does ridiculously, grimy shyt".
Show needs to end but you know showtime will probably literally keep it going until William H. Macy dies... truly living up to the show's namesake.

John Wells (the Showrunner) says we may see some of Fiona from time to time in the future if Emmy is up for it.
I think what they should do, is bring Jimmy back (with Fiona) gone, and see what chaos he can bring to the Gallagher's lives. Also, we need Sheila back.
