‘Shameless’ Showrunner John Wells: Where Fiona’s Going, Cameron Monaghan’s Return & Season 10 News

John Wells (the Showrunner) says we may see some of Fiona from time to time in the future if Emmy is up for it.

I think what they should do, is bring Jimmy back (with Fiona) gone, and see what chaos he can bring to the Gallagher's lives. Also, we need Sheila back.

With or without Emmy this show was destined to end soon. It may have been too soon to wrap the whole thing up on a decent note from a writing perspective. But this will die a slow and painful death.

However kinda weird she'd leave after getting a big party raise last year.

@ Liam closing the door in Debbie's face. Told that bytch he doesnt live there anymore. Why bother being a Gallagher. World rather see him not be on some church shyt because he's smart and could be doing more with himself. Breh had the black history room on deck along with the James Baldwin shirt.

Fiona has to be one of the luckiest characters on television. Got that $100k check and rode off in the sunset. Claiming all that Southside bullshyt, but gets off light with that assault charge and cashes in some CAC privilege in the process.

That breakdown Carl had tho Dude is accepting his fate and maybe in 10 years he will have that Winnebago. Kelly literally had to save his ass.

Lip is a walking L. He is the one who shouldnt even been remotely close to the Gallagher's. Wasted potential. Dude went from killing it in college, dealing with college hoes, to letting booze ruin his life and getting the trashiest bytch in Chicago pregnant. FML Hall of Fame candidate for sure.

And Kelly is a bad little bytch. Raw & Regret all fukking day.

It was good to see Fiona and Frank have their moment. He was genuinely hurt by her leaving because of much she reminded him of Monica. He even told Debbie that Fiona had that stripper look that Monica was able to pull off. And in a way he knows he's fukked without her. Deep down inside, he realizes she was the stabilizer of the family until she turned into the Gallagher she was destined to be. It was a good look of her to bless Debbie with half of her check.

Frank and Fiona had a real moment a few episodes ago when he told her how bad of a drunk she was compared to him. He was right on the money with that.

Carl's breakdown was good as well. I liked that. He was ready to work Captain Bob's and get a Winnebago.

It was kinda fukked up that Fiona didn't tell her siblings good bye outside of lip and Ian. Hell, she even told raggedy Frank good bye.

fiona flying off into the sunset with jimmy would've been complete bullshyt. they made it clear by the end of jimmy's run the dude doesn't love her, doesn't really give a fukk about her or anyone except himself. dont force-feed some half-assed happy ending on the viewers because it makes for a pretty picture.

i mean, JIMMY always made how he really feels clear with his actions, but for all the people obsessed with him and fiona they made it blatantly clear one more time by the end that their relationship wasn't a relationship at all. it's why i always respected the fact they never brought him back afterwards.

people love jimmy cause he brings fukkery. but on a show like shameless, how fukkery do you need?

from a storytelling standpoint jimmy and fiona make no sense. wherever she is or ends up, you really think fiona is gonna maintain her sobriety/sanity with that dude in the picture? you think lip needs jimmy in his life when he's got one kid on the way, another he's trying to adopt, monica 2.0 as a girlfriend and a family to look after without his sister around? carl and ian have already been to jail, what could they possibly get into with jimmy to top that?

come on. the entire family has outgrown him at this point.

Sad to see Fiona go but I get why Emmy had to leave. She’s been playing the same role for 10 years. She’s a good actress so I wish her luck. Her and Frank’s moment, the sadness in Frank’s eyes . He was still too proud to admit Fiona raised those kids without his help, though. I didn’t like the send off. She didn’t give Carl, Liam or V a proper goodbye. I think it would have been great if she actually went to the party they were planning for her. I’m glad Jimmy Steve didn’t come back. He’s chaos and a fukk boy, Fiona going back to him doesn’t signal change or development.

Liam is better off with that old black lady. The fact that they didn’t even notice he was gone until after a few days had past. They used to coddled him all the time but I guess they’re doing it the Gallagher way, once you hit 10 you can fend for yourself .

I agree with a lot of the comments about Lip, such a disappointment. He could have graduated, got his own place and be working a six figure job by now. Instead he’s working at a bike shop getting paid pennies and still stuck in the hood. Now he’s got that crazy bytch pregnant, she’s annoying but Lip loves crazy girls full of drama. I was laughing when she said Lip would be a shyt dad, she’s clearly gonna be a shytty mother. No doubt about that with her unstable ass.

I was confused with Deb blaming Carl’s gf for breaking his heart as if she wasn’t the cause of that, chasing after her brother’s girlfriend. Carl’s mini breakdown made me think of old Shameless. I wonder how season 10 is gonna be without Fiona.

Frank wants her to go and live her own life. If he said something nice she may have stayed.
