Frank was a reg smart upstanding man and part of the world till he hooked up with Monica.
It was falling for Monica that doomed him and got him boozing and drugging and he lost all control.
Lip is already a mess and isn't married yet and no kids officially.
In many ways frank reminds me of Gary from The Corner. Gary was all good till he married Fran and slowly Fran and the partying and drugs influenced him and he fell down a hole he never got out of trying to keep up with Fran.
