Who got mocked in top 10 and went 3rd round? :dahell:
Geno Smith was mocked top 5-10 overall by many.

A lot of players fall 30 or so spots, a full round+.

Thurman Thomas: top 10 went #40.
Jimmy Clausen was surefire top 10 went #48.
Desean Jackson had crazy hype and went round 2.
Laremy Tunsil was the “clear cut” #1 and went nearly mid first round.
La’el Collins was a top 10 pick, who went undrafted.

Thing is, a lot of NFL teams right now have a QB. A couple teams pass and players will slip.

Mocked top 10 all-season: Malik Willis, Will Levis (2nd)

Mocked top 10 in college Pre-season: Matt Corral, Spencer rattler, Sam Howell

Those last 3 were mocked to go top 10 in the same draft

Yea, this happens ALL the time

Trying to get ahead of whatever the outcome might be so they can say I told you so, be silent, or spin it to say their analysis wasn't too far off he just improved on the things they pointed out.......

I have to be honest. I prefer Cam Ward and Jalen Milroe.over Shadeur Sanders. He is a smart QB who layers his throws in short and intermediate distance. His arm to me is average and he has to realize the things he kind of got away with college won't work. Plus he's not fast enough to be truly a dual threat, imo so his accuracy has to be A-1 which I do think he is capable.

With that said this class is general is not as good as last year or next year's.

To be fair about La'El, that wasn't football related. It was because there were questions about him being involved in a women's murder. It turned out to not be true.

“Solid” QBs get thrown to the wolves and they don’t go #1

This is where fans’ ugly discourse rears its head. Dak Prescott was 2nd in mvp voting and let some folk tell it hes trash. Or, Go look at Gardner Minshew’s career stats. Or Tyrod Taylor. They can make all the throws and have presence and anticipation etc yet they just aren’t good enough. People are absolutely delusional of how hard it is to succeed at QB in the NFL.

Even people who ‘like’ Shaduer, when they describe what they like, they are describing a bare minimum NFL starting QB, a game manager, a bridge QB

Tom Brady's QB's value was more in intangibles so if reading what I said reads like bare minimum NFL starting QB then me and you evaluate QBs a whole universe apart from each other. Shadeur averaging out to being Goff level considering Goff has been to a SB and is leading the Lions to a #1 seed this year is more than just an average QB.

Besides that, your core problem is you're bringing up stats in your first post to justify why you don't think Shadeur is "high level NFL QB", but if it were as easy as you're stating just by looking at a singular stat then drafting QBs would be much much easier than it is. The idea that you're presenting a stat that could somehow project Mac Jones, Zac Wilson, and Justin Fields as potentially "high level NFL QB" and it misses that badly means you're probably looking at the wrong stat.

Just, no.

A telltale sign of lazy analysis is comparing players to only big names. Tom Brady?! :what: Yea, bc every limited cerebral QB goes into become the greatest to ever play. Even a Jared Goff comp is lazy. As is reducing 10 years of trends and precedent to ‘one stat’

Again, yall have no respect for how hard it is just to be a replacement level QB. So when yall see ‘hey maybe he can be teddy Bridgewater’—-a 10 year vet, starter for half his career, multimillionare set for life by 32—yall get offended. Nah he gotta be Tom Brady or “a rich mans Tua” :dead:

And the comedy is Shaduer profiles as the very type of bland limited QB nggas EVISCERATE on a weekly basis. Buddy is PJ Walker with a fresh pair of DT Max

A telltale sign of lazy analysis is using a single stat to focus in on a QB. You clearly have an agenda masquerading as "analysis" if you're trying to poke holes in every post who thinks Shedeur will be good.

Stop typing so many words and posts. Just say you hate him and we'll all salute you for being honest.
