I’ll call it how I see it.

This is an absolute fukk you to the Sanders family. It’s disrespectful The NFL understands the narrative is allowing him to become a joke
The kid has paid his dues. He hasn’t been in trouble or major scandals. He has a had a good collegiate career. He is simply a good football player

It’s bullshyt and everyone here knows it. If this was any other NFL legends son, who was the best of all time in his position this wouldn’t happen

Yeah, this. :francis:

1st 2 rounds I wasn't sure, but At this point there's just no denying it. It is what it is.

An Agreement of some kind amongst league owners was likely made, "no Shadeur until the X round" and they're sticking to the plan. Theyre putting the Sanders' in their place and sending a message. No way in hell all 32 teams owners just so happened to individually avoid him for this long, you have to be dumb to believe that at this point.

Draft experts are genuinely baffled... Mel Kiper just said this is the most disgusting thing he's seen in 47 years covering drafts. Dudes who are nowhere near his level are being snatched up over him. Something stinks and you could only ignore the smell for so long.

I don’t think most people supporting Shedeur are against him having more humility. It’s the racial double standards. If Shedeur was white with the same exact attitude, college production and a legendary NFL father there would be tons of excuses for what he’s being vilified for and he would’ve been drafted higher. If he were white they would be saying “he’s still young” and “he grew up privileged, he’ll grow out of it”. If he were white with the same exact alleged attitude they would constantly be pointing out that he had a horrible O-Line and no running game. The spin would be “he had to have that overconfidence to succeed despite those obstacles”. If Shedeur and Deion were white they would be pointing out how his father became a legend despite the overconfidence. If Shedeur were white they would be hyping up how he’s co-signed by Tom Brady and Nick Saban, so the attitude issues “can’t be that bad”.

That’s the issue, if Shedeur were white they would’ve put a positive spin on all the things he’s being criticized for and he would’ve been a top 10 pick.

But that's the thing. You know that coming in. Shadeur didn't just turn black last week. Deion been black for almost 60 years.

I thought every black person got that "twice as qualified" speech growing up but apparently Deion doesn't believe in it. Or maybe the money made him forget.

So if you know the game is rigged and has to be played a certain way, then you gotta deal with the fallout if you choose to move incorrectly.

Have any of the other top drafted Black QBs gotten the arrogant or cocky reputation thrown on them? I can only think of maybe Jameis.

I remember this was said about Cam Newton in the pre draft process

Under “negatives” for Newton, Nawrocki writes, “Very disingenuous -- has a fake smile, comes off as very scripted and has a selfish, me-first makeup. Always knows where the cameras are and plays to them. Has an enormous ego with a sense of entitlement that continually invites trouble and makes him believe he is above the law -- does not command respect from teammates and will always struggle to win a locker room . . . Lacks accountability, focus and trustworthiness -- is not punctual, seeks shortcuts and sets a bad example. Immature and has had issues with authority. Not dependable.”

Well the NFL just dropped its nuts and showed everyone no one bigger than the program. They gave their white fans assurance that the NFL is still ran by cacs. They get black players run a bit further now, but they can still cut their toes off when they want to.

This should be an eye opener for some black people who have it twisted. We don't own or run shyt in this country.

I find it funny you got nikkas in here caping for Shedeur, with the Sanders family being so MAGA that Donald Trump himself is out here tweeting about a team needs to draft him. You guys need to pick better heroes and better hills to die on :pachaha: .

Let me give you some life advice. When you are saying the same shyt about a black QB as Donald Trump, you probably need to re-evaluate your stance. :pachaha:

The Titans tossed the great white hope QB in the trash for Cam Ward but nikkas is crashing out cause Deion Sanders son didn't get drafted in the top 100.

Deion Sanders who said he was going to build up HBCU's and he was "here to stay" for black college football and the first he got to go coach at a school where 70% of the students are white he took it.:pachaha:
MFn BARS nikka!!!

It could be true or it could be a half-truth.
What version of that being half-true is going to make teams want to draft him. Any part of it being true seems like a bad look.
Deion been black for almost 60 years.
He's not black, he's Prime.
This should be an eye opener for some black people who have it twisted. We don't own or run shyt in this country.
This is such an absurd post. A son of a millionaire not being drafted to play QB in the NFL should be the eye opener? Not repeated instances of police brutality, perpetual voter disenfranchisement, any of the fukk shyt Trump and his supporters are engaged in, there are multiple "racism: wake your ass updates" on the daily, but we're supposed to use this as our wake up call that we don't run or own shyt. Crazy.

Herein lies the problem. The general sports atmosphere today from fans to even teams is catastrophically delusional

Dak Prescott was 2nd in MVP voting 12 months ago.

Let’s pause for a second and I’ll repeat that:

Dak Prescott was 2nd in MVP voting 12 months ago

Yet the general energy from fans is: he sucks :unimpressed: If he sucks, my ngga what the hell is Shaduer sanders gonna do?! As a commanders fan PLEASE go get Shaduer

I disagree.
The problem isn't that Dak sucks at football.
The problem is that people don't see through the manipulations of the media to make them THINK that Dak DOESN'T suck at football--with suck being defined as: he's never gonna win a Super Bowl.

Because: so many, if not most, if not 99%, of NFL fans look at this shyt as if its 32 teams competing against one another to win a Super Bowl. But that's not what it is... it's 32 teams working TOGETHER to ensure that as many of those 32 teams as possible have as many fans as possible THINKING their team can win a Super Bowl. There is a chasm between those two philosophies, and it flows organizationally downwards from ownership mandates.

That's why you'll see shyt like "Drake Maye is the next Josh Allen," or "Will Levis is the next Josh Allen," or "Jaxson Dart is the next Josh Allen." But they're not, because what Josh Allen is, was, and always will be is a guy with a goddamn once-in-a-lifetime bazooka grafted on to the right side of his body. He can literally throw a football OUT of a stadium. That's not something you learn, that's something you're born with. And he ended up right where he needed to be with a team that needed a new stadium deal, and voila.

But that HOPE is sold to other fanbases, to get them watching. I watched probably 7 or 8 Drake Maye games last year. He sucks. He's skittish in the pocket, he bails on reads, he can't throw guys open. He's significantly worse than Mac Jones, and Mac Jones was baaaad. But what are you gonna hear? "He's got next." Why? Because if the media came out and said "welp, it's hopeless in the East, none of those teams are going to catch Buffalo yet again" what happens? Every NFL viewer from New Jersey to Boston loses interest before the season starts. So you get hope.

Alright, so, how does this shyt fit in with Shaduer?
Just check your feed, your sports websites you visit, any network show this morning:
He is literally the league's narrative golden goose.
fukk winning the Super Bowl,
the league has a new cash cow.
There has been more Shaduer Sanders talk this weekend than the entire NBA and NHL and every other NFL team storyline combined.

So whats happening?

NARRATIVELY

this shyt has to be sold to a fanbase that will do the heavy lifting themselves.

If a team drafted him early? The expectations are: win now. When he doesn't? The golden goose is cooked. Everyone would say he's a fraud. He would follow the Justin Fields arc. Boring, overrated, good luck on your third stop.

You see his tape. You see his college stats. This is a very good quarterback. NFL pedigree. Mentored by hall of famers. Success everywhere. Pro-offense ready. You think any other QB that put up those numbers with an NFL coordinator in a D1 school would fall this far? Never.

He's falling this far to set up the narrative. Underdog. Give him a chance. Let's see what the kid can do. Prove em all wrong.

And then when he DOES come in and light it up? It'll be for a team who's season is circling the toilet bowl. "Throw the rook in, let's see what he's got."

In a situation like that, the coach already has one foot out the door.

And what happens next?

In comes Prime.

In comes some of the highest ratings for games the league has seen in forever.

This is the beginning of what will be a very fun, and very engaging narrative arc for YEARS. Enjoy it.

IS THIS NOT WHY YOU ARE HERE? IS THIS NOT WHAT YOU CAME FOR? ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!?!

must be great to be a black magat. you can be down with this anti-black political movement, but when shyt doesn't go your way personally people are going to try and make you out to be a victim of racism and modern day slavery. then again maga is the most whiny political movement to ever exist, they're all victims.
