You'd be an a$$hole too if you realized that all the good people in the world have died for no reason, that kids' lives are cut short for no reason, that you'll never see your dead loved ones again, that there is an end to all this madness, and it won't be redeeming.
People can get away with genocide without punishment, rape without punishment, war crimes without punishment.
Without a lord and Saviour to cushion that blow of reality, it'll make one fairly bitter.

I am an atheist. But if I saw legitimate evidence of a creator (and nature in and of itself is not legitimate evidence, and I've explained why before on this forum), I would abandon my atheism and try to find out as much as I could about the creator.

I would love to believe that humanity has a purpose or that there is some divine being more powerful than death. The thing is I just can't ignore this obstacle to my faith called reality.

II) People around the world to not have clean water
III) Diseases
IV) The rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer
V) Racism and modern day slavery (i.e. people working in sweatshops for pennies)

The fact that you're here typing this shows evidence of some sort of creator. The whole thing about God is about faith. If it was about a sales pitch to deliver good factual numbers then God would be down here running his own youtube channel vlogging about trivial shyt. That would defeat the purpose of things because then God would have a drone army of idiots just repeating everything said on God's last vlog...Tis why God gave free will to humans but also advised on how to live.
