I don’t think beginners should be doing 5x5’s periodI don’t think that’s the protocol for most 5x5 Beginner Programs
Fair but fact remains they aren’t setup to have some at 80% of 1RM. Far from itI don’t think beginners should be doing 5x5’s period
ion see why ppl think that bullshyt...
i know a muhfukka who been a legit diet ..for 6yrs....nikka aint lost shyt but her edges....
.
nah she meal prep eats 3 times a day 7-12-7She could be eating too much. Some people think just because they are vegan or clean eating means they eating is correct. But it's more than possibly to overeat rice and quinoa or especially those beyond burgers and "vegan cookies"
I don’t think that’s the protocol for most 5x5 Beginner Programs. They start you at the Oly Bar and work up if you haven’t lifted before.
So, whats your point? My post wasnt saying otherwise. It was pointing out new dudes who do shyt they arent supposed to. The biggest jacked dude in the gym isnt likely doing 5x5 workouts at his level of experience. All newbies should be doing the strong-lifts 5x5’s and they can create a great foundation and amazing body changes
We got a whole sub-forum but y’all constantly start the threads in hereI went straight to benching 120 lbs ... never worked out before. I hate I’m learning this now the hard way. See, y’all don’t say this type of stuff in threads about working out.
boy, I was asking for it.

Wild huh
you mean there’s more than The Locker Room and JBO?
No they shouldn’t
They should be doing light weight at high reps to learn proper form and prepare their bodies for a heavy 5x5 routine or future routines period.
You just don’t jump in and do 80% of your fukking max 5 times with improper form
