Wrong. he did it right by deading it right away. These other women thought they would ride cassie's coat tails. Due to the law expiring these suits were coming regardless. Now they got to stand on their own merits which is flimsy at best. Puffy will not settle these and will fight them cause they are specific 30+ year old allegations which you can easily poke holes in. Cassie's case was completely different. Cassie was someone he dated for 10+ years and her accusations were very broad and far reaching. The media needs new material to keep you in the news cycle and a prolonged case with cassie could go for months or even years providing the media with new details to keep the story going and damaging his reputation further. And the other accusers and media would use that info from cassie's case to feed into their cases.
Just look at how the media is already reporting and framing this as a 3rd accuser. Rather than look at the merits of each case they use the quantity of cases to presume guilt. And there are only 2 accusers. Cassie withdrew her suit and isnt accusing puff of anything anymore but the media makes it seem like that case is still open or relevant. They are on good terms now per her statement and She is not standing by anything she claimed in the suit and will never speak on it or puff again. That story line is dead as there will be no new info from the main parties involved. Even if a 3rd part speaks up its useless speculation unless cassie corroborates/ confirms it which she wont.
