Bullshyt. It was a Jordan led product and Jordan more than anyone had the opportunity to recontextualize every criticism of his career.

The bullying? (which we never saw the worst of)= "oh it was what we needed, didn't ask anything of them I didnt do myself:mjgrin:"

The gambling?="I'm competitive baby, if I had a problem my wife woulda left me "

Retiring to play baseball?="I said I was gonna do it years before I did it "

Republicans buy shoes too?="I donated to that nikkas campaign what more they want?":mjpls:

Mind you, I'm not knocking Jordan for having creative control. Mans has a brand to protect.

But its obtuse to act like that painting a supremely pro Jordan picture wouldnt come at some expense of others, and that's exactly what happened.

:what:AND SCOTTIE HAD THE SAME OPPURTUNITY
TO EXPLAIN AWAY HIS NEGATIVE MOMENTS.

nikkaS ACTING LIKE JORDANS
TEAMMATES WERENT INTERVIEWED.

He ain't have final cut though and for Scottie that might've made all the difference.

It's not a matter if Scottie is right or wrong (after all both narratively and IRL, things went in MJs favor moreso than Scottie)I'm just saying I can understand why hed feel that way with his depiction, especially since this doc was so popular.

But you see HE brought it up. Some people wanted to hear from the groupies he was running with. The casino managers:lolbron:

Like I said earlier this week some people wanted a "Surviving MJ" documentary like Kells and Michael Jackson got:hubie:

Jordan said Nah. I'm telling the definitive version of my public life.:yeshrug:
That's definitely what they want.

Bill Cosby, Michael Jackson, R. Kelly, Russell Simmons

Next up, jordan.

It's funny how you have grown men wanting to retroactively baby other grown men who have come out and said mj's leadership worked. Burrell said Mike wasn't doing anything that coaches back then weren't doing.

Sounding like cacs trying to tell black parents how to raise and discipline their kids.

Pippen has the right to be angry; they straight made him look like a soft baby.

I’m trying to remember one positive thing that was said about him in the “doc”

MJ literally said "there is no Micheal Jordan without Scottie Pippen"

Author is a jew, never trust them to give proper info.

You obviously didn't watch it. Let me tell you what was said. The GOAT, who's often praised for wining 6 championships, said he couldn't have done it without Pippen. The greatest player ever said he couldn't have achieved his biggest accomplishments without Pippen. Uhhhh, not sure it gets more positive than that breh.

Made him look soft? How so? Because he got hurt a few times? Well thats what happened. That was the TRUTH. The waiting on the surgery (which was selfish BUT I have no problem with it, fukk the front office), and the not going in the game IN THE PLAYOFFS, are actual events that Pip confirmed AND said he would do it again.

What I am I missing?

Only thing I don't like about the documentary is how they breezed over the fact that Jordan's gambling was the cause of his father's death

He’s obviously mad at something. And he’s not the first one who said he didn’t like the way he was portrayed in this piece.

Now look, MJ himself didn’t come off like a church boy, so I give him credit for that, he didn’t shy away from the controversial issues himself. Even though I would’ve loved if they gave us a more in-depth look regarding those issues.

I think the right question would be; is there something deeper going on with Pip and Jordan that we don’t know yet?

I could understand some people being upset if they were mislead on the true nature of the doc. But pip needs to pipe down. His props were given but everything is on the record. He was labeled soft especially early in his career. The migraine was a bad look. He signed that dog shyt slave contract. He refused to come into a game. And he constantly wanted to be traded and purposely delayed his surgery during that last year. And future fukked his wife to send her hold up sorry getting way ahead

This was a very entertaining piece of content, but we didn't learn much from it. The only time Jordan revealed anything was tearing up at how much of an a$$hole he is.

If you go through the off-court stuff, the best interactions Jordan has are with the security guards and body men around him. We barely hear his teammates in those moments. They usually are not there or don't say anything. And seeing these interviews, its clear his teammates didn't fukk with him that much and vice versa.

IT was fun seeing those highlights and going down memory lane again, but this was not a good documentary.
Some of y'all are trying way too hard

Nobody on the bulls was complaining when they were getting paid salary cap dollars that should've gone to Scotty.

If it was so important that he play every single minute of playoff games maybe the Bulls could have paid him more than an end of the bench player?

He wasn't being paid enough not to hold out or not take that shot, if he was worth more to the team than his contract the bulls should have paid him.

Dude got taken advantage of left and right through out the nineties and then this documentary makes it look like it's his fault he had it coming.
