heres the problem with the doc IMO

Nearly all of MJ's teammates in "The Last Dance" catch a stray or rather, some implicit suggestion that it was due to their character flaws/weakness that the Bulls went through some sort of rough patch.....

Meanwhile Jordan is shown to be nigh flawless. The worst coverage he gets is when they tell the story of him hitting Kerr. And even then that same episode ends with the implication that Jordan was only asking the same of what he was giving that his leadership style was the best thing for that era of the Bulls.

Even the pre Phil/Scottie years are quickly summarized as "he was a fukkING PHENOM who was needed the right coach/cast to win".

So given that this is a supposed to be most in depth look at the Bulls team as an entire organization, i can imagine that the extremely pro Jordan Slant would be a little annoying.

It brought up Jordan republican quote, his gambling, his bully tactics

"I wish he didn't give a shyt like me about what people say," Rodman told MacMullan. He goes on to say that Pippen should be considered a top 5 player of all time but he's been underrated his whole career by being connected to Jordan.

Dennis Rodman thinks Scottie Pippen is a top 5 all time player.

Yeah, we should really place so much weight on player opinions...

He’s mad over facts :yeshrug:

dude signed that contract then cried about it, quit on his team like a bytch and delayed surgery so he couldn’t “fukk up his summer” then gets angry about how he’s depicted

The last dance left out how Krause almost pulled the trigger or 2 pippen trades and Jordan threatened to retire instantly if pippen was traded:

Fukk outta here crybaby:camby:
Did Jordan quit like a bytch when he retired in 93? Or when he took his ball and ran home in 98 because Reinsdorf didn't wanna keep the same team?

Damn you guys really hate Scottie Pippen like that :ohhh:

Dude is completely right. The idea that you'd even imply that Pippen is soft is ludicrous. He's did as much if not more banging against Detroit than MJ. He's the one who covered the opposing stars and grabbed rebounds... He wasn't soft.

Including his migraine is ridiculous as well, they should have either skipped it or portrayed it in a way so it didn't look like it was his fault like he betrayed his team by having a migraine.

The way he got tossed under the bus over his contract dispute, which was a case of the Bulls taking advantage of his family issues and lack of safety net to fall back on.

Nobody on the bulls was complaining when they were getting paid salary cap dollars that should've gone to Scotty.

If it was so important that he play every single minute of playoff games maybe the Bulls could have paid him more than an end of the bench player?

He wasn't being paid enough not to hold out or not take that shot, if he was worth more to the team than his contract the bulls should have paid him.

Dude got taken advantage of left and right through out the nineties and then this documentary makes it look like it's his fault he had it coming.

no he didn’t you’re just regurgitating what you been told

the Knicks star was Patrick Ewing , pippen guarded McDaniel or mason

blazers star was Drexler pippen guarded kersey

Pacers star was miller pippen guarded rose, mckie, mullin & at times jackson

Only in certain matchups not all the time you don’t know wtf you talking about , go back to the locker room

Jordan is a degenerate gambler but it was painted as "he is just competitive."

The bullying was captured as "he is just a winner!"

The best Jordan documentary will be told when he isn't involved on the production side, but the NBA won't allow that story.

Ken Burns said the same thing but people ignored him - maybe the guy knows what he's talking about because he's one of the best documentarians of all time? :ohhh:
