he checks more boxes as a player than Jordan, without actually being better (he’s not)

Pip’s rebounding, passing, playmaking, defense, off ball mechanics, and general swiss army like game can elevate a mediocre team into a great one

MJ can’t turn a mediocre team into a great one, but he can turn a great one into a GOAT status one because of how high his highs are

but he doesn’t elevate or empower the people around him like Pippen can

that’s why when jordan left they were still great just not what they were
Which team did Scottie elevate from mediocre to great?

Were the Bulls great before MJ rejoined in the 94-95 season?

There are no great michael jordan led teams without Pip.

That 94-95 shyt don’t help your argument. The loss of HG effected their ceiling, so much so that Jordan coming back didn’t get them the ring either. further proving my point.

93-94 bulls and 94-95 bulls had damn near the same success

Are you saying the 93-94 Bulls were a great team?

What were the 94-95 Bulls pre MJ if they were only two games above 500?

94-95 without Scottie would have been a lottery team. they started 23-25 with the loss of HG.

93-94 bulls without scottie would have been mediocre and with him they were great.

yes 93-94 bulls were a great team. ECSF 55 wins is a great team

u can’t overlook the loss of HG. it’s why they were mediocre before mj returned and also why they didn’t make it past the second round in 95

Pip and the Blazers blowing that lead in the fourth of their game seven against the Lakers in the WCF is the most consequential legacy making/legacy breaking thing to happen to any NBA player in my lifetime.
That game affected A LOT of legacies. Pip and Sheed are looked at a lot differently if Portland wins that game. Shaq losing again in the playoffs would be seen totally differently. Jordan and the Bulls dynamic is looked at differently if Pip wins a title after him. Who knows how Kobe is seen after a loss there? Etc, etc.

Last Dance came out 4 years ago...
someone was just starting highschool and is now getting ready to graduate

and they are just now doing this :mjlol:

this is another reason Jordan is the GOAT...
he even got his haters eating off of him 25 years later
Kobe awhile back but we still have his tribute thread pinned like he actually knew or cared about any of yall.
