science is a tool to measure the physical world, but it falls apart when trying to explain God. IE there are many debates and postulations about infinity yet none of them can realistically ever measure infinity, just make inferences about it.

I understand your point of not being able to use an imperfect/rudimentary system to explain something beyond itself. I think it aligns with the verses of sound wisdom, knowledge, and insight being only from G-d, and not through human works.

A very good book but sometimes I get wayward thinking that man-defined tools such as mathematics are the only way to explain G-d but would G-d be G-d if a tool of humans could explain Him? And, how arrogant is someone that thinks G-d needs to be proven in their own framework or understanding and not according to G-d's will?

The reason breh doesn't want to do those things is because they don't want tobdo those things AND the circumstances of his life makes those pressures have less influence.
