it doesn't hurt, but she definitely enjoys doing her job and it shows.

They have had 30 for 30 shorts on soccer and they had a 2 hour one on the Sheffield stampede. They also did the 30 for 30 about the Escobar own goal

I know. But I'm saying do you know the 30 for 30 they could do on JUST AC Milan? Or JUST the past 20 or so years of the USWNT...

BREH, Imagine the 30 for 30 after Messi and Ronaldo retire. Stories on match fixing in south east asia...

For the Earth's largest sports network, they cover the world's most popular sport pretty poorly.

Exactly.

If you are on air talent for FOX Sports, CBS Sports,NBC Sports or any other sports network I would keep my mouth shut and not be so giddy this is happening to ESPN for this main reason.

The free agent pool is now full I won't be surprised if Ed Werder goes to NFL Network or Andy Katz goes to FOX/CBS Sports. Talented people got laid off which now means they can go elsewhere for either equal or a little less than what ESPN was paying them which would make some people at the other networks now expendable. You're really expendable if you're making high 6 to low 7 figures a year and are not bringing in the numbers or you don't do other assignments.

Because the world's most popular sport isn't that big here. Keep in mind what 30 for 30 was intended to be: the 30 biggest stories in the era of ESPN's existence. In other words if it's current or something out of sight out of mind it's probably not gonna be used.

I will also stand by the fact that not getting the Premier League rights was a HUGE blow...especially considering the numbers.

"Nearly 10 million viewers have tuned in to NBC Sports Group's Premier League coverage since Aug. 17, leading to a 67 percent daily viewership increase for NBCSN, marking the largest cable sports network growth over that span. Meanwhile, mobile viewership continues its rapid growth; fans have streamed nearly 35 million minutes via NBC Sports Live Extra over that span."
- NBC

That's not to mention they had a MILLION watching the Manchester Derby last year (Man U vs Man City) at 11 in the fukkING morning on the east coast...meaning thats 7am in the west..and still pulled a million.

Its continually gaining popularity and the MLS continues to be a shyt league. I think to treat it as an afterthought (which they are now) is foolish. Especially in the early spring where titles are being decided and the NFL been LONG over, MLB is just getting underway and the NBA is the only true sport that matters at the time.

To be fair, the people who are responsible for that aren't the ones getting fired. These are the people at the bottom of the barrell, who had nothing to do with that.

That's just wrong. All working class/poor people are getting screwed, regardless of race.

They were just used to not getting AS screwed as us and the Latinos, but now globalization is doing to them what White flight did to us in the '60s.

It sucks that the poor always get the shaft, but that's just how it is:yeshrug:

In order for that to be true, Black folks would have to enslave White folks for hundreds of years and deny them rights and agency.

Only in PC liberal world is "homophobia" just as bad as racism. WE built this country and it fukks us in the ass constantly. They're just fighting for people to except them fukking each other in the ass constantly.

I hear ya, but the fukked up part is that the media sticks together. They would really start trying to destroy these young brothers then, in honor of their "brothers" in the media.

:hhh:You make me sick
No offense but what are you talkI guess about? The stuff you said in regards to my post don't make any sense at all. It is a lot of times where people on here have similar views to other groups on stuff like the San situation and Bruce. All it takes is a search so I don't understand all that slavery talk that has jack to do with what I posted.

And why does ESPN feel they need to employ Todd Mcshay :what:

You have Mel Kiper Jr. What the hell do you need wack ass McShay for?

Clap his worthless ass
"EMBRACE DEBATE!!" - ESPN's former slogan

It's tired now tho, and they're finally realizing it.
