The Russeilo and Kanell show was :trash:anyways....SVP got a night time promotion. Kanell is cool but was boring and bland as shyt.

Crawford is a good personality but I had no idea he was still at ESPN.I remember him popping up during last year's finals when Cleveland won because he was from there.

fukk Trent Dilfer and Ed werder...both were being:mjpls:when the Kaepernick protest was going down and Dilfer needed to be humbled for thinking he was great QB throughout his career because he won 1 SB ring being a game manager with the GOAT Defense.

Britt McHenry was probably their best looking reporter but she got karma for how she treated that flight attended years ago.

Andy Katz was great..he'll get another job discussing cball fast.

Half the ppl that got fired I never heard of but we all knew this was coming. It was a time when ESPN
ran Sports television in terms of coverage, highlights, etc but the rise of social networks and streaming is hurting them. Also nobody wants to pay over $70 a month for cable-satellite just so they can watch ESPN when you can get up scores and updates at a click of button.

You know Deadspin is loving this shyt. Seems like they were beefing with ESPN for a minute.

They've been beefing with ESPN since their inception but FS1 is getting it too. FOX loves to act like this is only an ESPN problem I like how Deadspin and Aweful Announcing keep reminding them that their time will come also.

Nope both of use aren't wrong. I specifically said individual shareholder, not largest shareholder for a reason.
THe Lauren inherited the trust run by steve jobs, which is a legal enity , not an individual.

"No Steve Job's wife isn't the largest shareholder of Disney.
Robert Iger, the current CEO is the single largest shareholder of disney.
DIS Major Holders | Insider Transactions | Walt Disney Company (The) Commo Stock - Yahoo Finance

Disney like every other major company has a secession of CEO plan in place, and if they didn't and Iger was to step down the Board of Trustees would select a new CEO. This shyt is common"

You didn't say shyt about individual shareholder, you said the single largest shareholder of Disney is Bob Iger. Which is wrong. Don't falsely your statements when it's recorded.

single in that instance meant individual, which i confirmed with the link that lists him as the largest individual shareholder

ESPN is just :flabbynsick:...just look at the NBA/NFL drafts for example. Insiders on Twitter would be announcing the picks minutes before ESPN can announce it on the air which kills the suspense and drama.

They need to just go the Netflix-wwe network route and become a subscription based company that charges monthly.

Add the live games, add classic games, and original programming like 30 for 30. That's the direction they should be going in.

The WWE can do it because they're a one stop shop for wrestling and have the library for it. (And even then, Raw and Smackdown are still on USA Network) ESPN couldn't go that route because fans aren't gonna pay to watch live games they would have seen on cable somewhere else and leagues know that.
