189.0 but man am I feeling it. Gonna have my chicken now and get to work on legs.

Biking was ok last week but something about it fukks with my hips. I think I'm flaring my knees out as I ride which is no bueno. Going to try and keep the motion straight up and down. Part of it is riding on the trainer just isn't natural. Bike doesnt move at all which doesn't jive with my hips. Might mess with a roller and see how that feels.

Anyways just about done with my chicken and ready to work. Feels like my metabolism is reactivated, every meal makes a huge difference now.

Squats went so so. Kind of feeling it. 215 seemed a little heavy but the bigger issue is I couldn't seem to get set up right. Gonna drop to 205-210 for the time being.

I'm kind of at a crossroads and thinking of cutting my cut short. I'm happy with where I am right now as we are getting into the winter. I'm at a point where I feel I might be risking metabolic damage going further for too much longer. I've already done some but that's inevitable with a long cut. When I started my maintenance was 3000-3200kcal. I have pretty much lopped 700-1000 off of that and I'm definitely feeling it.

I'm def gonna slowly reverse diet back up if I can.... recommendations are to make weekly increases of no more than 150kcal/day back up from your daily intake. I'm doing ~1800 on average right now and I don't like it. If I come back up aggressive it will be 1200/150 = 8 weeks to get back to normal, and if I go conservative it will be ~12 weeks. I guess that's not too bad. Worst case I will be normalized by end of January (I would be starting back up the 3rd week of September), then I will have Feb and March to stabilize. Then I would cut again from Apr through June, a little more aggressively than this time. I'm thinking I will be able to do that as I am going to keep up with the cardio for reasons I said before. That will make maintaining weight and cutting a breeze.

I know from the last 2 months and the last 6 months of 2014 I don't need to gain weight to get stronger anymore. Like 1lb a month at most. So I'm gonna keep shyt light. In theory I shouldn't gain more than like 6lb. Then when I cut it will be for ~13-14 weeks... hoping to drop 20 for a net 15 or so from where I am now, but stronger :whoo: If I can make this all happen I should be straight.

Learned so much from this cut man, even though I didn't necessarily get as lean as I wanted. Def worth it on many levels.

Hit chest arms back yesterday. Bench was a *little* off, but I swear the first two plates I grabbed felt unusually heavy. I hit what was supposedly 225 for 3x4-5... felt heavier though. Everything else was OK. Got legs tonight, hopefully I can hit 215 again.

I'm ending the cut. Like I said I'm gonna get back into it real slow. Gonna get extra calories from 2 sources. Got my Blendtec, so first place will be from smoothies so I can get my nutrition on. It works so so so so well, it's just amazing. Second place will be from fats. I'm OK with the chicken but I really need a little more variety. Gonna mess with beef and maybe a little pork for lunch, and get more into fish for dinner. I'm gonna keep going this week at ~1800 but I will bring it up to 2000 next week, and then try and up it ~100-150 per week. Gonna be a PITA for sure but I don't want to throw away the last 7 months on a shytty reckless bulk. I'm not going to go crazy watching weight but I will definitely monitor my waist size. That will be my control point through this bulk. Blegh I dont even want to call it that. It's a strength gaining phase.

Hit legs yesterday. I'm still lacking confidence and comfort on front squats. I got through 3x8x215 but I didn't enjoy it. I just can't find the groove. Also mowed my backyard for a little cardio. I worked up a sweat. Weighed in in the mid 190 range... I think it was like 190.4. Dietwise yesterday was a little bit of a bust... had a vendor lunch, but I leaned out the rest of the day. Used the Blendtec to make a kale + blueberry + fiber smoothie for my intraworkout drink.... perfection :banderas: So nutritious; a cup of kale (34g!!!) is like a god damn multivitamin :bryan: and is drinkable in 16oz of water. W/the Blendtec it's barely tasteable. So I had that during legs and then a whey shake after. The kale + berries I have are good for about 125kcal so that is the perfect start for my reverse diet. I mean literally aside from that many calories in pure kale ( :scusthov: ) I could not think of more nutritious calories. We will see what comes of it.

Got chest arms shoulders for lunch and then a ride tonight.

Rode outside for an change. Had its pluses and minuses. Big plus is it's a lot more comfortable. I can move around much more. Nothing really got sore. Didn't bother my hip at all. Also my overall pace was way higher. Averaged a pretty relaxed 14 MPH, though part of why is a con. Didn't have to stop either like last time. Being ~20lbs lighter def helped on hills

There were quite a few cons. My loop is crazy hilly. I would be down to 5 MPH on the steepest uphills and then 30 going down :why: Part of that is just gearing though. My bike just can't get low enough for me to get up hills at a decent speed. so I'm just crawling. Bike also needs some updates and frankly is a little too old. When I have it on the trainer I can see the frame flexing. I'm wasting a lot of power.

Was looking into rollers.... basically an indoor trainer that is like a bike treadmill you power yourself. A little pricey but I think I might go that route this winter if the trainer keeps killing my hips. They didn't on Thursday though... I think cause I consciously tried to keep my knees inline instead of flared. Seat is also a lot more comfortable. Still though.... ordered some new parts (crank, STI shifters, front derailleur) and I will probably get a new frame/fork/wheels next year. I do think I will do an outside ride once or twice a week. I really enjoyed it. Should be a lot better once my parts come in.

Upper body party went OK. Left shoulder was bothering me but it feels better now. Found my stingray front squat shoulder pads.... I'm still debating getting this though:

GS Front Squat Harness All-Sport (New Compact Design)

Shoulder started to feel funny after front squats last week.

Also found my clips and shoes for my bike so I'm gonna give that a try again. Definitely feels more direct but I might need new latches in the shoes. Gonna see tomorrow. I think I will do more outside riding. At least once a week, hopefully twice.
