Also figured out why my traps are hurting. Had a really light fender bender Wednesday, completely my fault :snoop: Different DOMS. Doesn't feel serious but it is annoying. Gonna pop some ibuprofens and keep it pushing.

Bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad weekend. In laws are in town. Went over by like 500-1000 Friday and yesterday. Damn near doing a juice cleanse today to try and cover lost ground. Thinking about trying to do some really LISS cardio through the rest of this cut. Gonna do legs today and do a super slow hour on the bike tomorrow.... no more than 12 MPH, but def for an hour at least. I have the time now. Hopefully that won't fukk with my recovery. I think it was before because I was going way too hard. If I can manage that 2-3x/week these last few lbs will melt away.

I'm realizing now that I've hit my fat setpoint it's getting hard as hell to creep under. I can manage if I stay away from food but once deviations are in front of me :eat: :eat: :eat: Been lucky the last 2 weeks but I think that luck is running out.

In a weird space.

Like I said I went way over this weekend. Weight is up in the mid 194s. But I got my water levels back to normal, and I look OK. It's weird. Vascularity and detail changes throughout the day. I am like just on the brink. I think if I can get down to a legit <190 I will be straight for the fall/winter, especially with cardio.

Main issue though is sticking to the diet. This weekend was Tito bad. Leaner I get the harder it is to not give in at social settings. And with it being summer there have been a lot of them. No matter though. Gonna push through the next few weeks and then kick off my bulk in late September. Just struggling a little bit.

Hit legs last night. Got through most of 3x8x215 on front squats, no caffeine. Heavy but manageable. Put some more weight on leg curls too. I like this routine. Spares the hell out of my back. I don't know if I'm gonna do 3x5 on front squats though. I have trouble holding the weight as is. I need to record my form though. I recorded it Sunday and it looked pretty good. Just gotta make sure shyt stays on point.

Got on the bike for an hour. Felt good. Kept the pace pretty low. I probably could have gone another 2-3 MPH but I chilled. Went a little over yesterday and I just want to test the waters. Gonna do upper body party tonight and legs tomorrow. If I can get through all my shyt with that kind of cardio I am going to put it back in the mix. I'm stalled. Just have to keep it light and long in duration to spare recovery. It will also give me some caloric freedom which I'm needing right now.

Legs went OK. Hit 220x8 on front squats on my last set of 3 and hamstring curls are coming up quickly. I did have coffee though. Real leg test will be Wednesday night when I can't have any caffeine. Gonna do a really easy hour long ride tomorrow, try and keep it at 11MPH or less. Plan is to do a 60-90 minute slow ride every day I either don't do legs or have legs the next day. Ideally 2 90 minute rides and 1 60 minute ride. About 45 miles total or ~2200kcal. Somehow I have been making gains on lifts so either I have been way off with all these diversions or I have some room to play. I will see what happens this week. Sounds like a lot.... maybe it is. But based on how shyt is going I have the room to play. So fukk it.

I'm pretty much stalled in the low 191s. This weekend was good though.... kept things well under control so hopefully the scale starts moving down again.

Rode 11 miles. Couple of things I noticed.

- Stem is too long and stretches me out too much. I need a shorter + higher one. Gonna be ugly but it is what it is.
- I have been using the same bike shorts for like 8 years. The padding is finito. Pelvic bone gets destroyed and I can't ride for long. Just ordered some new ones with gel padding. Should do the trick.
- Riding kind of hurts my elbows.

Tomorrow is the moment of truth. I have heavy bench tomorrow night. If I feel good and hit my numbers then I'm all in on this biking shyt. I really dont mind it at all and its very manageable at the slower pace.

Feeling less than great. Been reading that cardio kicks up cortisol levels, especially in a deficit. That also fukks with your immune system. I have a sore throat and feel a little feverish. I still wanna give it a little time, see if I adapt... I know I will get my strength back so I'm not worried. Just want to kick this cut into overdrive for the last month.

Hit chest arms back at home. Went better than decent actually considering my elbow pain and weird diet shyt today. Gonna hit legs tomorrow.

Gotta adjust my bike and make a conscious effort to not lock my elbows. I adjusted the stem but I will see Thursday if I just need a new one. It's adjustable but it's long.

Legs went OK. Head wasn't fully in it. Forgot to add the 2.5s so I only hit 3x8x215. Put another 5lbs on ham curls. Decent workout, 5/10.

Got my biking shorts. The pad is like a mattress lmao. Should be OK. Got chest arms shoulders tomorrow for lunch and then a ride at night for at least an hour. I would like to try for 90 mins but we will see.
