Picking up my bike tonight.... gonna try and do ~25-30 miles between tomorrow and Friday night before I go on vacation. Should cover this week's transgressions. Gonna hit legs tonight. Been a minute since I did back squats, but I am loving the inclined platform I built and I think that will make them a lot safer/easier on my back. The difference on and off the platform is hugely noticeable with just the bar so I'm hoping it will make back squatting easier. I want to get back up in them 3s mayne
I think when I get back I'm gonna switch to a 3 day full body split. Gonna require full commitment to working out at home though, which I think I should be able to manage. No way would I be able to superset shyt like chinups and front squats at a commercial gym
But a 3 day split would give me more time to ride, which high key I'm enjoying a bit more and more and want to make somewhat of a priority. Will also give me a lot more flexibility if I miss a day or whatever (and the added cardio = more Combos, brownies, cheesecake, graham crackers, yadda fukking yadda). I basically took the shyt I'm doing now and compressed it into 3 days instead of 5. The workouts are kind of brutal.... Saturdays for example I'm doing heavy bench AND heavy squats.... but I figure I should be OK in a surplus. I'm already feeling better and making gains. Also nice to be able to hold a pump again, seems like weight gain is going straight to my glycogen stores.
