Just weighed in dry, bracing myself for the worst. Thursday night wifey's work put her out in Raleigh so I went out and we had dinner and wine. Then yesterday we had our housewarming. I made a big beef filet roast and there was all kinds of cheese and treats (we did it around a Bastille day theme). So naturally for like the 4th week in a row I overindulged. In the morning I was in the mid 196s, but then I relieved myself and ran some errands.....

Survey says.... 193.4 :blessed:

Now next week we don't have anything on the menu, so I am hoping and praying I can stay focused and keep shedding.

Weird shyt. Woke up today at 197.0 :why: Yesterday was very low carb and water though. Water balance is def off.

Been interesting to track my progress. Once I switched to the low carb shyt all the strength losses stopped. Strength ratio is a total on my big lifts divided by my body weight.... so you can see how that started to take off.

High key some of my lifts have started increasing over the last few weeks. Front squat, incline press and standing military press in particular. That strength ratio shyt will def be good for keeping my bulk honest too. I do have to change the formula though and I will on my bulk. shyt doesn't include military press or a correction factor for front squats. Also doesn't factor in reps. I'm gonna do x5 and x10 for all my major lifts in the bulk and work off of a calculated 1RM. So I will figure all that shyt out going forward. But this is def a good start and a really good resource.

Hit chest/arms/back last night cause Im not gonna be able to do it today on my lunch break. Went OK. Got through it in about 40 minutes legit complete, warm ups and everything.

Right elbow was bothering me though. Feels better now but I'm watching it. Lower back was bothering me too but like I said I hit front squats and it feels OK now. I mite have to bush back squats too :to: Thinking about doing 3x8 instead of 4x5 for front squats as well, but keeping the weight the same. If I can hit 8x225 on front squat :gladbron: I will give that a try Wednesday.

O yea.... Im holding water like a MF from those sausages I had Sunday night. Weight shot up to 196 yesterday, back down in the mid 195s now. Def gonna keep sodium in check going forward and for now get a little more aggressive with water intake

Like clockwork, Im almost certain we are gonna have lunch with vendors today :snoop: Looks like we will have another one Friday :sadcam: We must be vigilant and disciplined.... but Im def not gonna get a grilled chicken breast salad or w/e, Im going in :demonic:

Mite not be wise but Im contemplating changing my routine and moving to lifting at home full time :lupe: I wanna switch to a full body routine so I can squat 2x/wk and only be in the gym 3x/wk. Some of the supersets Im looking at would only work at home (bench/ham curls, squats/chins etc). I gotta see how busy I am with this consulting shyt but if I can spare 2 hours on weeknights it can work.

193.6 :whew: Have to be more careful with salt.

Right elbow is bothering me.... gets really bad with overhead presses. Gonna take a break from those for a minute, hope that heals. At least I think it's overhead presses.... I know overhead tricep extensions are what caused my left elbow issues before. Lower back feels pretty much back to normal. I've also started sleeping on my back which actually has helped my sleep and my back. Gonna try and bang out some more front squats today. Try and do the weight I was hitting for 5 for 8 :lupe:

Hit front squats for 3x8x215 I think. Low back started bothering me right BEFORE I started lifting though :snoop: Legs do OK.... its my grip that folds. Maybe I need to go slower. I can def hit 205 for a slow controlled 8 reps... slow eccentric fast concentric. I'll try that Sunday. Also hit some hamstring curls... my ham curl machine is funky though. Standard or Olympic weights.... it has too much clearance and the plates clunk. It's very annoying.

Upper body party gets an 8/10, very good session. Increased weight on x9 bench and upright rows. Also ditched CGBP and incline curls and just did 2 extra supersets of tricep pushdowns and standing curls for 15 reps. All in all very very productive session. I would have been happy with today in a bulk so it's pretty damn nice for being in a cut. Especially after having lost 2 lbs last week.
