a central character turns into a vampire in a vampire flick
two criminal brothers on the run
you left out 90% of the film's plot and didn't go past two superficial/service level nods that its clear you don't even know how to watch a film
coogler even clowning simple minded folks like you:
This is not like The Faculty though. The Faculty a copy of Puppet Masters/Body Snatchers, which all lean into acceptance and assimilation to become a part of something bigger. But in all of those movies, we're always following a handful of people trying to maintain their sanity and humanity, while the world turns around them.
If you want to say those themes are present, they would've showed up earlier than 2/3s into the movie. Or at least been hinted at. earlier in the movie. All Vampire movies have the theme of luring people with promises of contributing to something greater, but they have to suck the life out of you in order for you to "achieve it".
I see much more of From Dusk til Dawn, with the only difference being it doesn't lean as much into B-Movie camp throughout the entire movie. The criminal brothers on the run, a preacher-type, a bar, a bunch of unique/wacky/personality characters, defending against vamps as they are turned one-by-one...even the Tarantino/Rodriguez-esque gore. All of this doesn't happen until the joint becomes the main setting. Actually, it turns into B-movie camp once Remmick is introduced.
