That scene and the KKK scene you’re talking about are PERFECT examples of Coogler having an idea in his head and no matter how the accompanying scenes flow, it’s going in the movie no matter what.

Hollywood knows how to fukk up a good thing like this and may pressure both to make this a franchise
I think that’s were it would get really convoluted in retcons and goofy shyt

My mom was a kid in the 50s and when she visited my aunt in Chicago they always brought some tamales on ice from her old hometown favorite restaurant

Vietnamese came to new orleans as a result of the Vietnam War. Chinese started moving here in in the 1800s but most have since left.
