It’s a culture thing. They won’t ever admit being in the wrong. Lying is perfectly acceptable like bribery in other parts of the world it’s just accepted. As long as there is a single point of authority, that is seen as being strong, nothing else matters.
It’s why a lot of people were laughing at Russia’s concessions for a treaty. They’ll never honor that shyt lol. They’re habitual line steppers, always looking for a weakness. Bullying is part of the culture.
In 1999 they collectively decided that their neighbors had no right to exists as nations and belonged to Russia. They resumed bullying them as they’ve done since Russia first years of existence.
