which european nations think that they can compete in a new multi-polar world order with behemoths like the USA, China, Russia, India etc running things?
i'm just saying there is big dynamic of goals and what path they should take going on right now.
Because most of their energy supplies are provided by Russia. Make no mistake, every country is trying to make sure their citizens don't end up suffering too much.
Exactly, Gazprom is basically ARAMCO in Europe. Why would they want to cut off the hands that feeds them?

This is what I don't get.

He clearly romanticizes the Romanovs but thinks that what happened to them, overrun by home front desperate to get out of a war they didn't want to be in, won't happen to him :gucci:

It seems Vlad spent too damn long isolated during the pandemic and let his megalomania run wild to the point of him thinking this is his magnus opus and no matter what happens he will end up being perceived as a hero/savior of his people :dead:

Neither does he have enough trained soldiers. The soldiers being told off by grandma. Their soldiers surrendering. Their planes are getting shot down. Battles at the airport. Literally they have been running drills for the past month and still struggling to get a major stronghold.

Also, its sounding like he didn’t fully prepare or consult others. A tweet said that some oligarchs thought he was going to take the rebel region.

Why would any Russian actively fight when your country is publicly trying to hide your death?

Already almost a full 24-hours in, and it sounds like this invasion was a 'fukk it, let's just wreck shyt', but with Putin's power they just had to go along.

Also I bet that's just not for soldiers, but hiding war crimes.

it will be ironic as fukk if people rise up and overthrow him as part of revolution, just like the bolsheviks did the czar. but he prolly dies of age first :francis:

But how does that vibe with your statement that Germany low key declared independence from the EU?

All of the EU member states are in bed with Russia to some degree, Even Ukraine.
Prehaps not the EU but the US would be a better way to say it, Depends on what happens during the vote/EU NATO meetings.

...weeks where decades happens.

I hope so. At this point I believe Putin could pull off some real crazy shyt if he's in charge while Russia has another revolution.

Refusing to engage with the motivations of "bad" people is how you get bullshyt like "the Civil War was fought over States Rights and not slavery" :stopitslime:

Typically that happens AFTER the war when laws are made, treaties are signed, books are written, classes are taught etc. Not during the conflict. The only reason you can even type this is because you’re safe in your house in your suburb FAR AWAY from harm. Try telling Ukrainians right now that “Putin has his reasons”. They not trying to hear that.
