The booth is a joke.

Cac turn up music? :laff: the irony.

You nikkas get dumber as the days go by.

Album is fire. I honestly think it's their best one. played it twice all the through today.

For everyone in here calling it "cac music" lol you guys are idiots. Whatever music you guys actually like, white people listen to the shyt too. You guys must not get out much. Go to any rap concert & there will be white people there. Why do yall care what they listen to is my question?

Statik Selektah over EL-P...? :heh:

I'm highly convinced anybody giving Statik Selektah props haven't actually listened to his production, they just saw his name next to some choice underground rappers and decided to give him props off of that.

El-P is clearly running on E with this one. All the beats are pretty subpar except maybe a select few. Creatively you can tell he's drained.

It also sounds a little too "El-P" production wise, not "RTJ" enough, if that makes sense.

Not feeling this one.

It's a few dope beats on here. "Oh Mama" sounds like vintage El-P. But yeah, cac turn-up music isn't too far from the truth. A lot of El's beats post-2012 sound like EDM bullshyt and that will just never be my thing.

But besides that, they just don't have any chemistry (on the mic). Or at least not enough to warrant three-plus collab albums.

I'm not denying that white kids listen to it, my question is why does this matter? Why are you basing whether you like something or not on if other people listen to it? You have the MF Doom mask in your avi, which makes your argument even more stupid, because he has one of the biggest white fanbases of any current rapper. Look up footage of any Doom show & you will see a mixed crowd. Does that fact alone mean that he doesn't make good music? No it doesn't.

I don't even love El-P all that much but I had to dap.

Statik is the textbook generic boom bap producer, although he does have a few bangers I really like, and I respect that he knows his lane and still makes decent compilation albums in a time where no one else is really doing that anymore.

And those beats are still better than anything on here and a good amount of the other two RTJs albums. There's easily 8 different producers of this variety that could truly elevate this project from having the traditional good lyrics/bad beats combo a lot of these underground dudes have. Nottz, Statik Selektah, Khrysis, Sid Roams, Mr. Porter >>>> El-P. There's even throwaway J Dilla beats that sound better then this.

This is my least favorite of the 3 RTJ albums. A little too much El-P and I expected the subject matter to be more Public Enemy and less Eminem.
