Finally got around to peeping this.
El-P's production on this might imo be his best, and the production here is a clear evolution from the 1st two Run The Jewels albums. Wouldn't have expected a "2100" or "Down" from them a year or so ago, keeping it a buck.
The lyricism is superb on this. I like the fact the political stance is more in your face so to speak on this. The braggadocio angle is a nice little contrast too.
I think the biggest surprise for alot of listeners was Zach De La Rocha feature at the end. The groups best verses may have been El-P 1st verse on Thursday in the Danger Room, Killer Mike 1st verse on the closing track. Call Tickerton might be the most replayable track for me.
