I'm highly convinced anybody giving Statik Selektah props haven't actually listened to his production, they just saw his name next to some choice underground rappers and decided to give him props off of that.

how is this crowd different from most other rap crowds? looks the same as a young thug show or prolly a Ka show

All that shyt is cac turn up music.

shyt with no substance.

But since y'all fukk with them cats it different I guess.
What exactly do you stand to gain posting wack rappers to support a group that's largely a cash-in that hipster cacs will pay for at this point? :dwillhuh: I dont fukk with none of them dudes and you can look that if you got the time

Says the dude with MF DOOM avatar :laff:
El-P is clearly running on E with this one. All the beats are pretty subpar except maybe a select few. Creatively you can tell he's drained.

It also sounds a little too "El-P" production wise, not "RTJ" enough, if that makes sense.

Not feeling this one.

"LMAO YOU LIKE DOOM :pachaha:"

"....but you right though :francis:"

:what:

I think you might have taken one too many ectasy pills at that RTJ rave you went to lil breh

I'm not denying that white kids listen to it, my question is why does this matter? Why are you basing whether you like something or not on if other people listen to it? You have the MF Doom mask in your avi, which makes your argument even more stupid, because he has one of the biggest white fanbases of any current rapper. Look up footage of any Doom show & you will see a mixed crowd. Does that fact alone mean that he doesn't make good music? No it doesn't.

Yall can bring up Doom all you want but the fact of the matter is, he hasn't compromised his sound for high school and college cacs. El-P is a shell of himself now and Mike might throw some truth in the mix but all these crackers hear is "Shumma-luma-duma-luma-shumma-luma-duma-luma :krs:"

I'm sorry this apt title made yall sad, but Run the Jewels is really cac turn up music. Own it, deal with it, and try not to OD at the next party you go to bumping this nonsense.

Nah @Zero you seem like a cool dude most of the time so I'll just leave this topic alone.

Not really into the back/forth shyt.

I like the album.

Basically my point about El-P's recent stuff. The beats were just flat out bad, negating the entire concept of the album, and wasting Killer Mike's input.

:whoa:No need to get all up in arms breh, whether or not I enjoyed it has nothing to do with whether they're for "hipster cacs" or not.

I just found it funny that you think RTJ is for hipster cacs yet you have the king of hipster cac rappers as your avi.

He might not have compromised his sound for cacs, but he didn't have to. Cacs already loved it.

Album is dope. Probably their best album, prefer it too their previous albums. Beats are banging as well.

I couldn't finish it. I'm happy for their success but I'm done with the group unless RAP Music 2 is coming. Down is the best song and its downhill from there. This is a party I'm not invited to, and wouldn't really go if I was.

It's not often a record makes me feel like this
