They got Beal for NOTHING. I wish I could say we’re getting Dame, but I’m not holding out hope anymore.
It’s gonna be another whole season of “well we tried to get a star but none of them sent us a personal video saying they wanted to come to the Miami Heat to embrace Heat culture.” Maybe they’re waiting on D Wade to personally drive Damian Lillard or another star to the Kaseya arena.
If you can sit there for 4 years and watch Jimmy Butler try to carry your team and have the team break down each post season run and get them no help… All we ask for as fans is to PLEASE upgrade the freaking team and help Jimmy by adding a star or at least adding a damn PF to increase the size of this team. Somehow there is always an excuse. It is so frustrating rooting for a team that is so damn close to a championship have their front office continue to do nothing but go bargain hunting. The window is only open for so long. It is criminal how we continue to waste what’s left of Jimmys career.
If we don’t add Dame just blow the damn team up or send Jimmy to Philly and give him a chance to win a ring. It’s clear this team ain’t serious. Call me spoiled I don’t care. I hate this runner up energy.

October: Offseason passes. We did make a few offseason moves - to ensure we avoid the luxury tax. Dame is still in Portland. Pat Riley’s spokesman’s, Ira and Barry tells you not to worry and that something is coming by the trade deadline and to be patient.
November: Player X gets injured. The injury is supposed to keep X out for only 3 to 5 days according to team doctors
February: Player X still out. Heat doesn’t get Dame for two reasons. According to sources the Heat were not 100% convinced Dame wanted to be here because he refused to make a diss track against the City of Portland. Also the Heat were unwilling to part ways with Tyler Herro for Dame.
March: Remember player X? He’s finally back. That’s the midseason acquisition. Sign a cheap random big who was sitting on his couch the last two years (Dedmon or Zeller or Dwight Howard).
April: Playoff Jimmy arrives but Herro is injured and unavailable. But he should be back in 4 weeks
June: Miami needs a star to help Jimmy. Miami will be whale hunting. Media quickly forgets about the Heat.
Riley is like 0-8 in whale-hunting in the last decade. Gotta find a way to snag Dame, I know this front office isn't going to rest on its laurels after this legendary run knowing they're this close, only to resort to Run it Back 3.0
